Crawling down the dark hallway was extremely painful. Every movement that she made was excruciating. Her body was extremely still, and when she glanced back, she saw a trail of blood smeared on the ground. She knew she was bleeding, and she knew she had severe burns to her body. She knew some of the suit had melted into her skin. This pain was horrid, but the feeling of never giving up was driving her forward. She did not want to die knowing that this world would be forever lost.
Primus, please give us a sign...
She knew that Primus and Alpha Trion have given her hints of her future, but she never thought that this would happen. She saved Jack's life, and by all means, she should be dead. But it seemed it is her Cybertronian side that has saved her at this moment. But she was bleeding out, and each movement almost made her pass out. That was how sore she was. She wanted this to end, but not like this.
Her vision blurred as she crawled through the tunnel. She could not recognize anything in front of her at all. She could only see the faint glow of a light ahead. She knew that sounded bad, but she continued to crawl forward. She was determined, she had to be. After all, giving up would just be a defeat for herself.
After what felt like hours, Saphira finally exited the tunnel and found herself on a ledge that overlooked a large chamber. There was a dim blue light coming from somewhere and she could sense this was the right place. She crawled towards the edge and looked over carefully, staring down as her blurry eyes take time to adjust.
Saphira widened her eyes when she saw it. Almost directly below her was a giant orb that looked like it was floating while connected to the walls around it by various cables, beams and other wires. There was an opening that was glowing of light, and the familiarity that she was sensing was this. This was Primus, the core of the planet.
Did I really fall that far down?
As she stared, she blinked when she thought she saw a fluctuation of energy from the core before there was a small beam of energy until it created a figure of a magnificent being whom she only knew by his voice and gentleness. She knew that this image was tiny, compared to his true size.
"You have arrived, my child," He said in a soft tone. "You have begun your journey into discovering the fruits of the power that has been given to you. And I am proud of you." Saphira grumbled and wanted to respond. "Take that helmet off, Saphira." She froze and stared at him. "You have no need of oxygen like other humans. You are Cybertronian enough to breath without aid of oxygen. You will feel better."
Saphira didn't know if she should do something so crazy, but it seemed like Primus was confident. And she did trust him, so she doubted her was going to let her down now. She groaned so she lifts her hands to her head, unclicking and moving it up slightly. She took one breath as the oxygen escapes and she was surprised. She took another deep, painful breath and she was not suffocating.
She took the helmet off completely, though her weak muscles in her fingers made her lose her grip on it and it felt from the ledge. She looked at Primus as he looked at her with a smile. "I...I w-want to help..."
"And you will." He placed a hand on her head and rubbed gently. "You will be nineteen soon, and you have been through multiple lifetimes already. With a new spring about to bloom on this planet, I know the future for this planet and the new generations will be blessed."
Saphira coughed and spluttered up blood over the rails of the ledge. "But...we n-need y-your help."
Primus held out his hand to her and she looked at it with a frown. "No, my help is not needed. Because you hold that power of which I wanted you to have. You only need to transform now, and destroy the parasitic replicators eating our planet." Saphira was about to protest about being able to transform. "I will give you your answer to transform. Take my hand, and I will give you some strength back. Your wounds will not be healed, but your pain will be temporarily removed. It will be enough until Ratchet, Knockout and the rest of the healing team look after everyone, only after you begin the rebirth of this world."
