Chapter 50

Saphira gasped as dust nearly falls in her face as another explosion above the base causes it to shake and tremor, along with rumbling getting that was getting closer. Saphira swore it sounded familiar, and she didn't know if what she was hearing was something she really recognized. Nonetheless, Ethan and the soldiers led Saphira into a large garage filled with cars.

"Let's get out of here!" Ethan shouted at the men and grabbed out a piece of cloth. "Blindfold her!" He held out the cloth to the soldiers. "We have a lot of hours to go before we reach our new destination, we cannot have Saphira relaying her position to Optimus and Megatron."

Saphira widened her eyes and whimpered when the blindfolded was tied around her face, blocking her eyes. 'Optimus, Galvatron has left. Whatever it is that you have planned to rescue me needs to be now! They're absolutely to transport me out of here!'

Saphira didn't get a response, aside from acknowledgement through the bond that he heard her. She heard the rumblings get louder suddenly and she was right. She could hear a drill! A decepticon drill! Even the soldiers stopped as the drilling got closer.

"That...is that one of them?" One of the men asked nervously.

Ethan grumbled and grabbed Saphira's arm, pulling her along roughly. "Don't just stand around staring! We need to get out of here before..."

Ethan didn't even get a chance to finish what he wanted to say. Saphira yelped as the very loud sound of a wall breaking as something drills into the large garage. There was the sound of soldiers shooting at whoever it was and Ethan pulled Saphira along until she yelped as a missile is fire at the cars, causing a loud explosion in front of her.

"No..." Ethan gasped in disbelief.

Saphira reached up and yanked her blindfold off, squinting slightly at the fire in front of her and glanced over her shoulder. She saw a large drilled that he broken into the garage and smiled when she saw a familiar seeker. Starscream threw a boulder a several soldiers, crushing two as most got out of the way.

Ethan glared at Saphira when he saw she pulled her blindfold down and pulled her suddenly. "You and I are leaving!"

Saphira gasped and looked back as Starscream overheard Ethan. The seeker glared at the doctor and hit away several more soldiers with the back of his hands. Saphira glared at Ethan and shoved him off her suddenly, using her own weight to throw him off. The doctor's grip slipped and he looked at her in surprise.

Saphira backed away from him and was about to turn as Starscream walked towards them quickly. "Oh no you don't!" Ethan shouted as she grabbed her shoulders and pulled her along. He glared at Starscream as he suddenly reached into his pocket and pulled out a handgun, pointing it at her stomach. "One wrong move, and your sparklings dies!"

Starscream froze in his tracks when he saw the weapon against Saphira's stomach. He saw Saphira tense and the seeker didn't want to be the reason the man shoots her. Ethan smiled, though Saphira has had enough. She elbowed his elbow, causing him to drop the gun as he was struck and the gun goes off.

Starscream smiled slightly and resumed walking briskly towards them as Ethan grabbed Saphira's shoulders again to try pull her with him. However, Saphira struggled against him. She didn't want to go with him. Ethan glared at her and shoved her suddenly. Saphira stumbled back and her right side hit against the edge of a table.

Ethan picked up the gun and aimed it at her. "You stupid whore!"

Starscream aimed his missile at Ethan. "Put that down!"

The doctor looked at Starscream, narrowing his eyes at him. "I guess she and I will both die then! So go ahead! You will never be able to defeat Galvatron now!"
