Saphira continued to run as best as she could. She held the signal system in her hands, hugging it close to her chest as it was literally the last thing she had of Starscream...along with the cloaking system that he had used to shield his signal. She knew that with it no longer being cloaked, Galvatron would be able to find her easily. And she didn't know how long he intended on letting her think she was getting away before he grabs her again. She didn't want him to toy with her, but she knew that she had little choice if he decided to do that.
She yelped as another Mech bot punched a tree in front of her, it glared at her and tried to grab her. Saphira managed to duck away from the hand and around another tree. She shrieked when another bot landed in front of her and she ran between its legs. She knew she was practically cornered in a way, because she really couldn't run very fast and she was literally carrying a bit, red dot for everyone to see.
She could hear the rumble of an engine crashing through the trees and she immediately knew it was likely Galvatron in a vehicle form following her, instead of flying after her. The sound was thunderous and she just had to keep running as fast as she could and avoid each attempt of being grabbed by the Mech bots.
She skidded to a stop when several insecticons flew directly towards her. She was happy and terrified at the same time. She ducked slightly, covering her head as they flew right over her and crashed into the Mech bots behind her. She recognized Hardshell as he transformed and landed by her, glancing at her to see if she was fine before blocking a punch from one of the bots.
She said nothing to them as she just kept running. She did not want to stick around for any carnage that might occur. She heard Galvatron transform behind her and the sound of canons being fired. She had no doubt that the insecticons could put up a good fight, but she didn't know how strong Galvatron has been made to be. She heard no words being exchanged as she heard the sound of clangs and blasts behind her with trees flying over her from the blasts.
She heard more bots flying overhead and she hoped Megatron was close. She was exhausted. She could not wait to get out of here. She was so cold, but she was also extremely determined to get as far as she could so that the others would have that chance to find her, and take her away from this nightmare. The bots flying over the trees got closer and she knew they were going to land and try to grab her as well.
She heard a familiar set of canons firing and glanced up. She smiled when she saw Megatron, Dreadwing and a squadron of vehicons firing at the Mech bots to stop them from getting to her. She was relieved, but she did not stop running. She was glad that the others finally showed up to save her, but the fight was far from over and she knew it. She did not want to be hanging around for much longer. Especially as she heard a few bots falling into the ground heavily nearby.
She continued running for another ten minutes before she stopped by a tree to catch her breath. She was struggling and she glanced up, wondering where Ratchet was. She was surprised he was coming with Shockwave as he usually sat out of fights. She knew he loved her deeply and wanted to help her, so she guessed maybe that was the reason why he was coming. She sniffled a little as she did not know how she would tell them about Starscream.
Her thoughts were cut off as a sharp pain rippled through her stomach, making her groan and clutch her stomach. She took a deep breath and frowned as she felt a shift of weight within her. She widened her eyes and realized what might be happening. She hoped it wasn't true, it was too soon. She felt fresh tears in her eyes and she silently pleaded for the sparklings to hold on as she continued on her way, ignoring the pangs in her stomach and back as they slow her down, while also feeling weight continue to shift within her...more noticeably the weight was moving downward.
She knew that Optimus and Megatron would be feeling her pain, but not recognize exactly what it was. She didn't tell them though, otherwise they both would panic. She was already starting to feel panic as this was no place for this to happen. She was determined to get out of here. She continued walking as quickly as she could as running was no longer an option for her. Her legs were starting to feel numb again as the cold was settling in, but she would keep moving so that her blood would keep pumping.
