i smiled excitedly as f/n and i got barrier at the ghost ritual.

"do you have the sign?" i asked, looking over at her. f/n nodded, pulling the folded up paper from her bag and handing it to me.

i quickly unfolded the paper to make sure no harm had come to what was written inside, but it was just sharpie so there wasn't much to worry about.

"now we have an hour of standing here and waiting," f/n laughed. i chuckled, folding the paper again and placing it against the barrier in between my legs and the fabric.

one hour later

f/n was on the phone with her mom, having to yell over the crowd so she could get across what she was saying.

"y/n!" f/n exclaimed. i looked over, seeing f/n pointing her phone at me, her mom smiling at my makeup. "hi ms f/n!" i smiled, waving.

i was a bit bored due to the curtain being up, so i couldn't look at the stage to take in details, but it was fine, i had f/n to entertain me.

"are you excited?" ms f/n asked. i nodded. "i'm sure f/n is very appreciative that you invited her as your plus one. i made sure that she'd take her own car so wouldn't have to drive her around as well," ms f/n smiled. "oh, it's fine. we have fun at all the concerts i invite her to," i shrugged.

"y/n knows all the ghost songs so we made a sign to show the band!" f/n smiled excitedly. i rolled my eyes at her subtle bragging, but ms f/n ate it up. "well aren't you talented!" ms f/n smiled. i chuckled softly and nodded, messing with the fabric of the barrier.

"well, i'll leave you both to it. have fun!" ms f/n smiled. i nodded, waving at her as f/n said goodbye.

f/n and i had been talking for about 20 minutes when the lights suddenly went out and a shadow of one of the ghouls lit up the curtain from behind.

f/n screamed, grabbing the sign from my feet, unfolding it and holding it up. i rolled my eyes, yelling excitedly along.

suddenly, a big explosion sounded and the curtain fell, revealing aether, rain, and sodo with the rest of the ghouls on the platforms upstage.

papa was quick to run out and begin the ritual, the fans screaming excitedly.

most of the show had gone by when sodo sauntered over near f/n and i, looking down at us as he played.

he read over the sign quickly and looked at me, holding his left hand out.

i smiled widely, holding my hand out as well. sodo leaned closer and closer, shaking his head at our distance, i copied his movements, entertaining him as i laughed. sodo reached out just a bit farther than he does for most fans, letting our hands brush before he quickly pulled away, walking over to papa.

f/n screamed excitedly and wrapped her arm around my shoulder as aether walked over. f/n shook me around for a moment as she squealed, ranting about how i touched sodo's hand.
