a small whimper escaped you as you stepped out of sister imperator's office. you quickly covered your mouth, taking off down the hallway.

everything had gone bad that day. you woke up late because your alarm clock died in the middle of the night, making you miss breakfast, you were late for a meeting with copia which ticked him off because he was having a bad morning too, you didn't have a break because you were running late, the lunch that was served you were allergic to and they didn't offer any other options, a meeting with secondo and some cardinals had gone awful and set of your anxiety, you missed dinner, and sister imperator had called you to her office to scold you for your "bad attitude" that had apparently affected everyone at the ministry.

you didn't know where you were running. you were just running. your shoes hit the ground with every step, sending a shock up your legs.

you turned a corner, crashing into someone's chest. you yelped at the impact, looking up to see terzo looking down at you.

"y/n? what's wrong? what happened?" terzo asked, hugging you close to him. you broke down and sobbed, clutching onto the third papa as the stress of the day finally broke you.

a door nearby swung open and rain was rushing over, placing his hand on your back. terzo looked at rain, a slightly panicked look in his eyes.

"y/n, dove, what happened?" rain asked softly. you sniffled, shaking your head and burying your face further into terzo's chest.

'mountain, come to the east hall. y/n needs you.' rain sent mountain a mental message, rubbing his hand up and down your back.

within two minutes, mountain skirted around a corner and rushed over, hurriedly taking you into his arms and letting his energy wash over you.

"shh, it's okay, flower.. what happened?" mountain whispered softly. you sniffled as you finally began to calm down.

"i just had a bad day.. i'm sorry.." you whispered. "don't be sorry, it's okay." terzo soothed, rubbing your back.

"how about," rain cut in, making you, mountain, and terzo all look over at him. "we go down to the catacombs and have a movie night to cheer you up?" rain offered. you thought for a moment before smiling and nodding. rain smiled back, kissing your forehead quickly before grabbing mountain's hand and leading you three down to the catacombs.
