y'all better be on guard for the next few days. i have some shit planned.

anyway, enjoy the fluff.

—RAIN—

- i swear his internal clock just doesn't tell him when he's tired.
- like, he only goes to bed because he knows he'll eventually collapse if he doesn't sleep.
- that said, he doesn't get too bothered by  casually staying up late with you.

rain was sat next to you, his head resting in his arms as he watched you work on some paperwork.

you both were in the library and rain wanted to help you with your work, but he couldn't figure out what to do. you, of course, reassured him that it was fine and that you didn't need much help anyway, so he didn't have to feel bad.

though, rain wanted to stay with you in the library. you thought he was going to read a book, but he just sat next to you and kept you company.

you let out a sigh of relief as you finished a section that required two different colored pens, being much more happy with just one pen.

you set the black pen down, using the red one to go over the next section and write where you needed too.

rain stared at the pen for a moment before picking it up and clicking it, gently grabbing your wrist and slowly moving it over to him.

you glanced over, seeing rain start to draw on your hand, leaving tiny doodles all over your skin. you smiled, letting rain do his think as you continued with your work.

about 30 minutes later, your eyes started to hurt. you looked up to the big clock on the wall, seeing it was 3 am.

you let out a sigh and began stacking your papers up, not daring to move the arm that rain was drawing on.

he had gotten about halfway up your forearm, all of the doodles he made being somewhat correlated.

rain looked up as he realized you had put all your papers into their folders, putting them in your bag before you relaxed and started watching rain draw on your arms

"oh.." rain mumbled, clicking the pen and setting it down. you laughed softly, making sure all the ink was dried before you grabbed the pen and put it in your bag.

you turned back to rain and pressed a quick kiss to the bridge of his nose before standing and grabbing your bag, waiting for the now flustered water ghoul.

—MOUNTAIN—

- you asked him to go stargazing with you since a comet was passing over and you both lost track of time.

you smiled as you watched the comet, soaking in the feeling of looking at light that was from millions and millions of years in the past.

you're stomach felt like it was eternally dropping to hell, but you also felt comforted.

"you're beautiful, y'know that?" mountain broke the silence between the two of you. he was on his side, thinking that looking at you was time more well spent than looking up at the sky. you looked over at him, feeling yourself get a bit dizzy before quickly becoming grounded again.
