—RAIN—

- he knows how to play just about everything, so you had your options.
- you chose bass, though, loving the deep sound and vibrations of the instrument.

"yep, like you're walking the strings." rain nodded from behind you. you were in his lap and he was teaching you how to pick the strings with your fingers. you rested two fingers on the d string, raising them up interchangeably to play the g string. "you're doing great." rain smiled, resting his head on your shoulder.

"ready to add different notes?" rain asked. you nodded, happy that you were progressing. "okay, we'll start with the e string so you can start building up some callouses." rain said, raising your left hand up and placing your pointer finger on the first fret of the e string. you moved your right hand up to the e string, picking it. though, no sound rang out.

"you have to press down," rain said, reaching his arms around you as he placed his finger on the third fret, playing a note. you nodded, pressing on the string. you picked again, and a note played, but the tone was pretty awful.

"just a bit more. you're doing amazing, dove." rain told you. you nodded, pressing down harder, and the note became a lot clearer.

"that was great! you just played an f," rain grinned, wrapping his arms around you and pressing a kiss to your shoulder. you smiled happily, leaning your head against his.

—MOUNTAIN—

- drums are a difficult instrument, so you both took it slow.

"you're doing great, love, don't get too frustrated." mountain soothed, lowering the stool a bit more. you took a deep breath, starting the beginner song he taught you.

it wasn't much of a song in all honesty. it was just a combination of a few super easy skills he taught you.

you struggled at bit when changing between skills, but you had the mini song memorized pretty well.

"that was amazing!" mountain smiled when you finished, peppering kisses around your face. you smiled and laughed happily, your nose scrunching as he showered you with affection.

—AETHER—

- he's incredibly patient and is pretty hands on when teaching you.

"rhythm guitar is a bunch of repetition, so you really only need to learn a few chords for this part and you'll be set." aether smiled, raising your hand to the neck of his guitar and positioning your fingers for you, moving your arm so it wasn't as hard to flex your wrist.

"press down and strum all the strings." aether instructed. you did as he said, adjusting your hold on the pick before strumming the strings. the tone was a bit dirtied, but it was pretty good for your first try.

"that was great! ready for the next chord?" aether asked, looking at you happily. you smiled and nodded. "perfect." he grinned back, adjusting your fingers once again.

—SWISS—

- he tries to teach you how to sing, but he's really bad at explaining everything.

"did you hear how your voice sounded gravelly?" swiss asked. you nodded. "that's fry. you added to much. if you relax your throat a bit more in the back you should be good." swiss smiled. you nodded, waiting for further instruction.

swiss nodded at you, and you sung another note. your voice was less gravelly than before, but it was still scratchy and that time it hurt to sing.

"oh, no, don't do that again," swiss' eyes widened and he quickly checked your throat to make sure you didn't injure it. "maybe i should just get you voice lessons," swiss grinned slightly, pressing a kiss to your forehead.

—DEW—

- he teaches you the string names and what frets are and how to count them, then tells you where to put your fingers rather than shows you.

"put your pointer finger on the first fret of the G string," dew instructed, nodding as you got it right. "middle finger second fret of the A string," dew nodded once again as you got it right. "and ring fingers second fret of the D string." he said, nodding as you did it right. "now hit every string."

a smile grew on dew's face as you had almost perfect tone, pressing a decent amount on the strings to make sound ring out.

"you just played an E chord." dew grinned. a big smile grew on your face as you strummed again before looking back up at dew, leaning forward and kissing him. dew smiled, raising his hand up to your cheek and cupping it.
