"y/n!!" i heard someone yell moments before i was jumped on.

i groaned, trying to roll over to get them off me.

"c'mon y/n, wake up! it's christmas!!" they exclaimed happily.

"sunny, get off of her.." another person sighed. i grumbled, slowly opening my eyes to see sunshine sitting on my lap as cumulus and cirrus walked in.

sunshine groaned, rolling off of me and my bed before barely catching herself before she hit the floor.

"she's right though, y/n. you do need to get up." cirrus chuckled, walking over and pressing a kiss to my forehead. i smiled tiredly, sitting up and quickly getting out of bed so i would wake up faster.

"we'll be down in the common room. make sure to dress festive." cumulus smiled. i nodded, rubbing my eyes and walking to my closest.

after about 10 minutes, i had changed into one of my most vile christmas sweaters i owned and some plain black leggings. i put on some fuzzy socks and quickly made my way to the common room.

i smiled widely as i walked in, seeing all the ghouls and ghoulettes sitting in a circle, some in the couches and chairs, others on the floor.

"y/n!" swiss smiled, waving me over. "hey," i grinned, hurrying to the circle and sitting in between swiss and cirrus. cirrus smiled at me happily.

"y/n! y/n- pineapple on pizza?" dew yelled, getting my attention. "uh-" you started, though dew cut me off. "cause this asshole," dew punched aether when he said 'this', "says i'm closed minded for not liking it!" dew huffed, looking at me after. "well-" you started, though you were cut off again.

"well when you throw fits about other people liking it you are closed minded." aether rolled his eyes. "YOU DI-" dew started, going to lunge at aether but rain grabbed the fire ghoul, pulling him back and resting dew's head on his shoulder. dew grumbled but settled into rain, a soft purring sounding afterwards.

"okay.." mountain sighed. "presents?" he offered. "yes!" sunshine squealed, picking up a box and practically throwing it at me.

"hurry, hurry, hurry!" sunshine smiled, cumulus practically having to hold her down so he didn't start bouncing off the walls.

i chuckled, starting to pull the paper apart.

"WAIT." sunshine yelled, startling me. i yelped, looking at sunshine. "look at the tag!" sunny smiled. my shoulders slumped as my adrenaline began to fade, swiss laughing. still, i looked down at the folded wrapping paper that had been taped to the box.

"to y/n, from cirrus, cumulus, and sunny." i smiled. "and.." cirrus grinned. i looked up at her, rolling my eyes and looking back down at the tag. "smiley face." i stated.

rain snorted, dew grinning as everyone laughed slightly.

"okay, now go!" cumulus smiled. i nodded, pulling the paper from the box and opening the folds of the cardboard.

inside, was what looked like an oxidized copper sun dial face split into quarters. in the top left there was an engraving of the sun, in the bottom right there was an engraving of the moon, and in the two left over quadrants there were engravings of two types of clouds.

my jaw dropped slightly as i took it out of the box, examining it further.

"what? what is it?" aether asked, trying to see. swiss looked over my shoulder, 'aw'-ing when he realized what it was.

"you guys.." i grinned, tearing up as i looked at the three girls. sunshine was smiling brightly, cumulus petting her hair to keep her calm as cirrus' head was slightly tilted.

"we figured it was a good welcome gift to the band from the other girls." cirrus shrugged. "it's perfect." i smiled, looking down at the heavy sun dial face.

"so cute, anyways, is it my turn?" dew asked.
