—RAIN—

- he had always seen your bike in the parking lot of the ministry. he always saw that whenever you left, the bike was gone too. but he never connected the dots.
- he's a relatively good backpack, you have to warn him before you speed up or else he's caught off guard, but that's just etiquette at that point.
- the keeps his hands planted on the gas tank cause that's what you told him to do, but occasionally he'll get a bit freaked out and have to hold onto you.

rain's jaw dropped as he watched you walk him over to the motorcycle he always saw and climb on.

you looked over, smirking slightly at his shocked face.

"you're gonna have to switch." you said, handing rain a helmet that you had adjusted to fit his horns with extremely protective covers over them. rain nodded slowly, taking the helmet and looking around. you turned rain so he was facing away from where anyone would be and blocked his face from view with your helmet.

"thank you.." rain smiled as he pulled his ghoul helmet off, quickly replacing it. you smiled, putting your helmet down and adjusting the chin strap of his helmet. "anything for you, rain."

"oh satan, oh satan, oh satan-" rain mumbled as he tightly closed his eyes and put his helmet against your back, keeping his hands planted on the fuel tank as you sped down the highway.

"everything okay?!" you yelled, checking on your boyfriend.

you had told him to be completely honest with you, as that's what you needed to keep you both safe.

"no- lucifer, please slow down!" rain yelled back, his shaking becoming more noticeable. you immediately went down two gears, pulling off into the right lane as you sat up more, looking back every now and then to try and see rain.

"do you need me to stop?" you asked. you felt rain nod into your back. "okay. it's okay, just relax. i've got you, raindrop." you soothed your boyfriend as you quickly pulled off onto the exit ramp, pulling into a gas station after.

rain was quick to stumble off of your bike as you put the kickstand down, getting off yourself and quickly putting up both of your visors.

"what happened? did i scare you?" you asked, your eyes filled with worry. rain swallowed harshly, not wanting to admit it, but nodded.

"oh rain," you sighed, quickly pulling your helmet off and hugging your boyfriend. rain hugged you back tightly.

"let's go back to the ministry, okay? i'll go as slow as i can. just let me know if you need breaks or anything, okay?" you offered. rain nodded, squeezing you for a moment before he let go.

the ride home was slow as rain leaned into you, adjusting his hands on the gas tank every now and then.

as you came up to the stretch of road that had a whole lot of nothing, rain wrapped his arms around you.

"can you go fast? i think i was just startled last time.." rain asked shyly. you were a bit shocked, but you'd never turn down an opportunity to go speeding down this road. "yeah, for sure. just hold on and tell me when you want to stop."
