dew and y/n were that unbreakable power couple that everyone envied.

when y/n was summoned, dew had just become confident in his fire abilities and the young fire ghoulette was placed under his wing. he kept her safe, and she kept him cool—oddly enough. they were unstoppable as friends, and when they finally accepted that they were mates, they became even more so.

though, when y/n was placed in the band lineup, she became close with all the other ghouls, and it sparked something in dew. obviously, y/n had met all the band ghouls before, she even considered some of them friends, but when she joined the band and everyone was around her more, it made dew feel something he didn't know.

dew had his arm draped over the back of the couch behind you, glaring at swiss as you spoke happily with the multi-ghoul, putting his hair into a protective style so it wouldn't be damaged by the touring helmets.

swiss was at your feet, rain in front of him painting the multi-ghoul's nails black, talking to you excitedly.

dew didn't care what he was rambling on about, all he cared about was that you were paying attention to swiss and not him.

"dew?" your voice broke him out of his thoughts. dew looked over, seeing your beautiful dual-colored eyes looking back at him.

dew could look into your eyes forever and never get bored. he could watch your thoughts swim around your irises till the end of time and he'd be happy.

dew hummed in response to you saying his name, his eyes softening as he examined your features.

"what do you think?" you asked. "about.." dew trailed off. you raised an eyebrow, the corner of your mouth quirking up into a smirk. "about the tour we're leaving for in three days." your voice gained a tone that made dew melt. dew smiled, humming softly as he leaned his back into the couch, still staring at you.

"i think i'm excited for you to go on your first tour and experience the world." dew spoke softly, his eyes slightly lidded as he watched your reaction to his words. you rolled your eyes as you felt your face heat up, turning back to continue doing swiss' hair.

the mentioned multi-ghoul fake gagged in response to dew's answer, the fire ghoul's jaw clenching as he sat up more and glared down at swiss again. though, movement in front of swiss made dew adjust where he was looking as swiss began talking to you again.

rain was looking back at dew, a worried look in his eyes.

'are you okay?' rain asked mentally. dew blinked rapidly at the sudden sensation of rain in his mind and nodded, settling into the couch as best as he could.

rain was unconvinced but brushed it off, knowing better than to push the fire ghoul when he was around you.

"you and swiss have gotten close." dew commented as you both packed your suitcases. you looked over from a shirt you were holding up, raising a brow.
