no, you're not dead dead. i'm not that mean🙄

from now on, y/n will be a ghoulette! i know some people don't like ghoulette y/n all that much so i won't mention it very often, just to appeal to everyone <3

- he was in shock for a while before he decided to do something about your death.
- he went to copia asking if the fourth papa could do anything. and while copia said he himself couldn't do anything about your death, he did mention something about summoning you back...

rain looked down at the book on the floor in front of him then back up at the pentagram he had made, making sure everything matched perfectly.

once rain was sure everything looked right, he shakily picked up a switchblade, bringing it to his wrist.

rain inhaled sharply as the blade broke his skin, biting his lip to stop himself from making any sounds of pain.

as soon as there was a small flow of blood coming from his wrist, rain tossed the blade aside and hovered his wrist over the center of the pentagram.

rain took a deep breath, whispering an ancient chant as his blood dripped onto the floor.

suddenly, the ashes started glowing a bright blue light, rain scrambling back so he wouldn't get dragged back down to hell.

the water ghoul watched with wide eyes as blue flames erupted in the circle of ashes, almost reaching the ceiling.

then, everything went quiet and got a lot darker as the flames disappeared, the ashes returning to gray.

rain moved so he was on his knees, inching towards the circle as he saw a figure curled up in the center, shivering.

rain patted on the floor until he touched the blanket he brought. the water ghoul quickly grabbed it, standing up and rushing to the center of the pentagram where the figure was.

"y/n..?" rain whispered as he draped the blanket over the ghoulette. the figure looked over their shoulder, revealing icy blue eyes. rain's eyes widened as well as the ghoulette's under him.

"rain..?" the ghoulette asked, her voice hoarse as she shakily pushed herself up, no longer hiding her face and the scar that was just under her left collarbone.

tears welled in rain's eyes as he recognized your features.

rain let out a sob as he hugged you tightly, making sure the blanket was wrapped tight around your naked body.

"i missed you so much, dove.." rain cried. you whimpered softly, reaching out from under the blanket and hugging your ghoul back.

"what happened to me?" you asked. you remembered nothing after kissing rain's forehead—even then, that memory was faint.

"you were killed when the angels attacked us. but i summoned you back, it's okay." rain whispered, not letting you pull away from the hug as he buried his face into your neck.

you sighed, hugging rain back and just enjoying him and how he was holding you.
