i look up, "yeah dad?"

"just to be clear, we're only moving in like the... more expensive part of the neighborhood. like. with actual houses, youre not gonna change schools- well if you went to school, you know?"

im squeaking and squealing. i can still see joshua. i probably just have to bike to his house now. 

i run up and hug dad, "thank you."
