Chapter 2

I got up the next morning and just soaked in my new room. I had moved in with Selena yesterday. It was so sweet of her to let me stay here. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Justin. But i wrote him a note, and plus I was probably going to see him again because of how close Selena and Justin were.

After having breakfast, Selena insisted on me getting a new wardrobe. Since i couldn't go outside until i was eighteen. We did some intense online shopping. I only bought stuff that was on sale, but Selena kept on putting super expensive clothes in my cart. She was so sweet.

"Selena I need to graduate from highschool." I explained as we painted our nails.

"Yah.... about that, i hope this is Ok with you. But i pulled some strings... and i got you accepted to Alfaro High School. You start the day after tommorrow. I know i should have asked." Selena explained.

"No thats great! Thank you it's the best school in L.A. But don't i have to live on campus?"

"Yah, but you only have to go for 3 days so you can graduate."

"So i end on my birthday?" I asked.

"I know it's not ideal. But I promise that we will have an awesome celebration!"

"OK, I guess i'm graduating in 3 days!" I squealed.

"Haha! So what do you want to do after you graduate?"

"I want to be an actress."

"Seriously! I can totally get you an audition!"

"Are you serious?"

"Im dead serious. I could totally get you an audition. I can't guarentee anything after that but i can for sure get you an audition."

"Omg that's so amazing!!!" I squealed.

~morning of the "first" day of school~

"Kate, if you wanna have a good day at school you need to have a good breakfast!" Selena argued as I checked through my bag to make sure I had everything.

"You sound like the mother I never had!" I argued back laughing. Selena laughed and then got a serious look on her face.

"I'm not driving you until you finish this." She said stubbornly.

"Fine! Your annoying!"

"Thank you that's the best comment of the day!" Selena replied smiling victoriously. I finished breakfast and then Selena dropped me off at school.

"Remember its a school for extremely smart and rich kids. A lot of famous people's kids are gonna be here. So don't be surprised if you see the mayors kids here." Selena explained as we walked into the office. Everything was furnished to the extreme. This was gonna be a fun 3 days.

"Hi, I'm here with Kate it's her first day of school." Selena said to the secretary.

"One second while I page someone to show her around." Within a couple minutes this super cute boy with brown hair and brown eyes walked up to me.

"I'll be showing you around for the next couple days because we all have the same classes. My name is Brian." He explained. He had the cutest smile.

"Hi i'm Kate but I'm only here for two more days." I said.

"Ya well that's what I'm supposed to tell you it's in my script for this job." He replied.

"Ok."

"I'm gonna go now Kate. Have fun!" Selena said. I have her hug and then I started my tour. I was supposed to be looking around but I could only look at him. We went around to some places that I don't remember because I wasn't paying attention. We finally arrived at my dorm.

"Because your staying for such a short time. You have your own dorm. You can set your stuff in there and then I'll show you to your first class. "

The rest of the day went by really fast. Everybody was so nice. The best part was that Brian asked me out on a date. (Cute guy that showed me around.)

I put on a flower print dress and curled my hair. I didn't put on a ton of makeup, just mascara, blush and eyeliner. I waited on the couch in my dorm until I heard a knock. I quickly smoothed down my dress and walked to the door. There was another knock and then I opened the door.

"Hey you look nice!" Brian exclaimed as we sat down at our table in the restaurant. I smiled and then commented on how nice he looked. We chatted about different things and by the time Brian dropped me off at my dorm. I had a HUGE crush on him. I usually didn't let myself fall so "head over heels" for a guy but there was just something special about him. I really liked him.
