Chapter 6

"Anya!" I yell running up to her. The sun is setting and the natives don't usually come out at night.

"Hey! Did you talk to Anna?" She asks.

"Im gonna tomorrow. I haven't gained the courage yet. What are you doing out so late?" I ask.

"Just because everyone else goes in at night, doesn't mean I do! And you better talk to her tomorrow!" She replies.

"I will, I promise. What were you planing on doing?" I ask.

"I'll show you!" She answers guiding me into the forest.

"Are you sure you know where your going?" I ask uncertainty.

"I come out here almost every night." She replies. We get to small clearing and Anna leads me down a small path and then we get to a giant stone rock. It huge!! And covered with paintings.

"These are beautiful! I love painting!" I reply.

"Thanks! I have an empty space over here. You can paint whatever you want."

"I think I know what I'm gonna paint...." I reply. Anya gives me some of her clay paint based paints and homemade brushes and I get to work. When I'm done I can barley keep my eyes open. I pack up my supplies and walk back to the village. I fall into bed and fall asleep immediately.

I slowly open my eyes and see Justin looking at me.

"Justin!!" I yell sitting up. He puts his hand over my mouth and puts his finger to his lips, insisting that I have to be quiet. How did he get here?! Oh my god Justin found me!! I knew he would. I reach out my arms and wrap them around him. I try to hold in my tears but I can't. I start sobbing in his arms.

"Shhhhh.... Don't cry." He whispers enveloping me in a hug. He runs his fingers through my brown hair and i fall asleep on his arms knowing that my world is finally complete.

I quickly open my eyes frantically searching for Justin. He's gone. Was I dreaming? I had to have been dreaming. He would never just leave me like that. He loves me. But it felt real?! I'm so confused right now!? I wipe the tears off of my face trying to hold myself together.

"Kate? Are you alright?" Anna asks walking up to me.

"Yeah! Im fine. Just a bad dream." I reply plastering a smile on my face.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"No, I had a dream about Justin! I miss him so much!! I just want him back!! I'm sick of this place!! I just want him back!!" I cry tears falling down my cheeks.

"I'm really sorry about what I did. I swear if I could change what I did, I would! I feel awful and I'm just so sorry. I really wish I could change what I did."

"But you can't change what you did... I'm still mad at you. But I don't want to always be mad at you. I don't want to lose out friendship among all this." I say.

"I'm sorry, Kate I really am. But I understand." Anna says.

"I know you are. But Justin and Niall will find us. And even if it hurts that I don't have the ring. I have Justin in my heart."

"You really know that he's alive? You can feel it?" Anna asks.

"Yeah, I can feel it. I know he's not gone. I mean it can't end like this. Not after everything we've been through. He's out there I know it. And I know he's doing everything he can to find me." I reply.

"I wish I knew that. It's just so hard to have hope. I mean it's been so long! I don't even know how much time has past since we washed up here. I just don't understand how Niall couldn't have found me yet!"

"Well when he finds you, you can ask him." I reply putting a smile on Anna's face.

"Kate!!!" Anya yells as she runs into the hut. "I think we found Justin!!!" She yells.
