Chapter 19

I hear a crashing noise and I spin around to see what looks like a SWAT team filing through doors. Help has finally arrived! Within minutes we're ushered out of the room and into a small plane. As soon as we're all seated. The plane takes off. Justin Louis Eleanor and I are sitting in the seats facing Selena Anna and Niall.

I close my eyes and lean onto Justin's shoulder not wanting to think about anything. I just want to enjoy being in Justin's arms. But the same thought keeps haunting me. Is Brian okay? It's not that I care about Brian. It's that he's a human and if he dies, that means I killed someone. It means i took someone's life away. Sure it was to protect myself but, I shot him with a gun. I hurt him. What kind of person does that make me?

"Brian is going to be alright Kate." Justin says, my eyes snap open in surprise.

"How do you know?"

"How do I know that your worried about him, or how do I know that he's going to be okay."

"Both." I reply sheepishly.

"I just know you that well. And you shot him in the shoulder. That's not going to kill him." Justin explains calming my fears.

"I love you." I murmur.

"I love you too!" He says and then kisses me. I kiss him back wanting nothing more than to be with him.

"You guys please, save it for when you get home. There will be plenty of time and space to mess around then!" Selena shouts winking. I burst out laughing along with everyone else in the helicopter. It looks like things are finally going back to normal.

I open my eyes and start to let out a yawn when I see Anna and Niall in one the most heated make out sessions I have ever seen.

"Oh my god." I say quickly averting my eyes. I look to the left and see that Louis and Eleanor are giggling over them. Selena has her head in her hands and she's shaking her head.

"This is awkward!" I mutter to myself.

"Very." Louis whispers to me. He lets out a mischievous laugh and then screams out, "OH MY GOD THE PLANE IS FALLING OUT OF THE SKY!!!"

Niall and Anna spring apart and fall on the ground. Justin jerks awake looking completely bewildered. Realization sweeps across his face as he sees Louis, Eleanor, Selena, and I laughing like mad idiots. He glares at us momentarily and then joins in.

"That was so not funny!" Anna huffs sitting back in her seat.

"Just like your make out session! If this is what happens in front of us, who knows what happens while you two are by yourself!" Selena says causing Anna and Niall to turn bright red.

"Ah the color of love!" Louis exclaims laughing.

"Sorry." Anna and Niall mumble. We all laugh in response.

"I think the plane is landing!" I exclaim excitedly. I can't wait to get home.

"Finally!" Selena sighs as the seatbelt sign turns on. A couple minutes after the plane lands a man in a fancy suite ushers us out of the plane.

Unfortunately instead of getting to go straight home, we had to fill out all this paper work and answer a million questions about everything that happened. Then we had to get checked out by a doctor, which took forever! But finally after hours of waiting we were allowed to go home.

I step into my shower and scrub myself until I'm certain that every bit of filth is off of me. I turn the shower off and wrap a fluffy towel around my body. After drying my hair and changing into my pajamas I walk downstairs into the living room. I feel a blush creep onto my face as I see a shirtless Justin in the kitchen.
