Chapter 29

Kate's P.O.V

Things finally seemed to be coming together. Brian had called and explained that his grandmother had gotten sick and he was busy with that. We were going on a date in 20 minutes. Justin was leaving today. Whenever he was around i would feel so uncomfortable.

I opened up my sock drawer and grabbed a random pair of socks. I quickly started to put them on when something something shiny fell out of them. I picked it up, it was a beautiful gold diamond ring. I was about to ask Selena if it was hers when all the memories came back. It was as though suddenly everything made sense! The alley where Justin found me. Our first kiss. Our first I love you. The texts, Hope, Justin. I was excited at first and then the horrible reality of what I had done sunk in. Justin was leaving because of everything I had done to him. I sprinted out of my room slipping the ring on.

"Selena!" I screamed as tears streamed down my face.

"Yes!" She said worriedly.

"Is Justin gone yet?!" I asked.

"He's at the airport." She answered. I couldn't lose him, not again. I threw myself into my car and drove to the airport. What had I done. All those horrible things I had said to him. He really truly loved me. Selena was right, it's sad that I couldn't appreciate it.

After parking my car I ran into the airport. I followed all the screaming beliebers to where he was boarding the plane. I could see the gate number sign. But there were to many people, I couldn't get to the front.

"Please move! I need to get to Justin!" I yelled trying to get through the crowd. Slowly one at a time a belieber moved so I could get through. I came to the fence and I could see Justin. He was about to go into to the hallway that led to the plane.

"Justin!" I screamed. He turned around and slowly took off his sunglasses off looking at me. His face broke out into a smile as he ran towards to me. I climbed over the fence and ran towards him. I jumped up into his arms and he enveloped me in a hug lifting me off the ground.

"I love you." I said hugging him. He tilted my head up and said

"I love you too." Then we kissed passionately.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so ashamed of what I did! I j-"

"Shhh...." He said putting his fingers on my lips. "All that matters is that your here with me now." He said then resumed kissing me. He entwined his fingers in mine and then lifted it up.

"Your wearing it!" He exclaimed and I looked up to see tears falling from his eyes.

"It's what made me remember." I said.

"I missed you so much!" He said in between a kiss. He was still crying. I reached up my hand and wiped the tears off of his face.

"Would you like to go somewhere private?" One of Justin's bodyguards asked.

"Sure." He replied. The bodyguard led us into a small room with a couple of couches.

"Is this okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, thanks." Justin said and the bodyguard left.

"I'm so sorry about everything!" I apologized.

"It's okay, I'm just so happy that you remember me! I love you so much and I'm so sorry for leaving you in that alleyway! This is all my fault!" He said rubbing his thumb across one of the scars that hadn't faded off my face.

"You don't need to apologize for anything! I deserved that!"

"You didn't deserve that."

"But I tried to, I tried to k'kill you!" I wailed and my voice cracked. "I'm so sorry! Please forgive me! I wasn't going to go through with it! At the party when I w'went to the bathroom it w'was because I had to put the stuff on my lips! And th'then I came out and you sang that song for me! You gave me that beautiful ring and I fell back in love with you! Then I reached up m'my hand to wipe my lips off and you slipped the ring! Th'then you k'kissed me! I'm so sorry! I really am and I hate myself for doing that! I don't know what I was thinking! I was just scared that they would tell everyone!" I sobbed as Justin hugged me.

"What do you mean tell everyone?" He asked.

"When I was sixteen I robbed a gas station so that I could pay our rent! The landlord said they would kick us out into the streets! I was so scared and I didn't think of the consequences!"

"So someone found out about that and threatened to tell everyone unless you killed me." Justin said.

"Yes, please forgive me!" I begged.

"I forgive you Kate. I love you." He said and then kissed me. He loved me so much, I just started sobbing I was grateful for him.

"What's wrong?" He asked pulling away.

"Nothing, I just love you." I said and then kissed him.

"I love you to." He said and then resumed kissing me.

"I never gave up hope on you!" He said. Hope!

"We need to go to the hospital now!" I said.

"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.

"I'm fine we need to go!" I said racing out of the room. I sprinted towards the parking lot and I could hear all the beliebers screaming Justin's name as they chased us. I got to my car and quickly jumped in as soon as Justin was in too. I started speeding towards the hospital.

"Is Selena okay?" He asked.

"Yeah she's fine." I replied.

"Then why are we going to the hospital?" He asked looking confused.

"I need to visit someone." I replied.

"Ok..." We arrived at the hospital and we quickly got out of the car and I sprinted into the building. I hit the up button and luckily the elevator door opened up almost immediately. As soon as the doors opened up on floor 8 I practically jumped out. I ran into room 13 and it was completely empty.
