Chapter 4

Selena's P.O.V

"Kate?" I call as she runs down the stairs and out the door. I chase after her hopping into the passenger seat next to her.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I'I don't know." She says shoving her keys into the ignition.

"You know Justin didn't mean what he said."

"I know I'm not mad at him." She replies.

"So then why are you driving away?" I ask.

"I'I just- can you get out of my car?" She asks irritably.

"You know what I don't get about you?"

"What?"

"I would do anything for a relationship like you and Justin. Your meant for each other! Justin loves you more than anything in the whole entire world! He would do anything for you! I don't understand why you would want to throw that away! Why can't you just understand that you'll never find a better guy for you than Justin? Why do you keep denying how perfect you two are for each other?" I explain. She looks at me tears welling up in her eyes and shakes her head.

"Please get out of my car?" She begs. I sigh and get out of the car tears glistening in my eyes as she drives away. This is all my fault, if I hadn't of said anything they would've been making out right now.

"Where'd she go?" Justin asks walking up to me.

"I don't know." I reply blinking away unshed tears. "I'm sorry."

"What?" He asks in disbelief.

"I'm sorry for all this. It's all my fault." I apologize. He stares at me for a second as a sad smile spreads across his face.

"It's okay, I'm sorry too." He replies and hugs me. "I had a tracking device installed in Kate's car after she was kidnapped. I'll just find her that way." He says and heads towards his car.

"Justin!" I call out he turns around and looks at me. "Don't tell her that you installed a tracking device in her car. She might take it the wrong way."

"I'll keep that mind thanks!" He exclaims and gets in his car. I really hope everything works out.

Kate's P.O.V

I drive out of the driveway tears rushing down my cheeks as my heart aches with sadness. I keep driving and find myself at the same place Justin proposed to me. I get out of the car the wind whipping my hair around. I walk up the hill and sit under the giant oak tree letting the sweet memories of this place sink in. Tears start to form in my eyes as regret fills my heart. What have I done?

"I'm so sorry Justin." I whisper as a tear slides down my cheek. "I love you so much." I whisper my voice cracking.

"I love you too Kate." I hear Justin say. I lift my head my head to see him kneeling down in front of me. My heart erupts in happiness and I wrap my arms around him kissing the corner of his mouth. He pulls away and stares deeply into my brown eyes.

"I want you to know that you haven't caused me any trouble. Those guys were after me before we even met. I roped you into all this. You were used. What you did wasn't your decision. Don't beat yourself up over it. All I care about is you. I don't need money, I don't even need to be able to sing if I have you. Because as long as your mine ill be happy." He says tears forming in his eyes. I smile tears rolling down my cheeks as I hug Justin.

He wipes the tears from my eyes with his thumb and kisses me again.

"Do you wanna go back home?" He asks.
