Chapter 11

"Are you sure about that?" Max replies and leans in to kiss me. I whip out my hand and slap him on the face.

"Get away from me you freak!! I'm engaged you idiot!" I yell standing up.

"What? To who?" He asks rubbing his cheek.

"Justin Bieber!" I yell smugly.

"Ok for real, who is it?"

"I'm engaged to Justin!" I yell.

"I thought you guys broke up?!"

"No, we broke up once but that was a long time ago..." I reply.

"So I'm guessing you don't want to make out?" Max asks making me want to slap him again and then throw him over a bridge into a pool of man eating sharks.

"Your such an idiot!" I spit out through clenched teeth.

"It was worth a try. Where is he now?"

"I don't know!" I reply wanting nothing more but to get away from Max. Anna was right Max is a dog name.

"Some fiancé he is!"

"Shut up Max. I love Justin, not you and I never will. " I turn away and walk quickly back to the village. I was totally not expecting that! Did Max just tell me that he wants to date me? Did he just say that I loved him? Did he just try to kiss me? Wow... I don't even know what to think. I just want to forget it ever happened.

"Sorry!" Anna apologizes as she bumps into me pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Oh no I'm sorry! I wasn't looking!"

"Are you okay?" Anna asks. Should I tell her about my little encounter with Max.

"I'm fine. I just... can we go somewhere private?" I ask deciding to tell her.

"He tried to kiss you?!" Anna comments her mouth dropping open.

"Yeah... It was so weird! I just slapped him."

"You slapped him! Nice job! Did it leave a red mark?" Anna questions.

"Umm he covered it with his hand. I'm not sure."

"Well I'm sure it hurt! What did you say to him?"

"I told him that he was an idiot and that I'm engaged! And he didn't believe that I'm engaged to Justin!"

"I told you he wasn't worth it! He's such an idiot! Your much better off with Justin." Anna says.

"I know right. I can't believe that I'm actually going to marry Justin. I mean I'm gonna be his wife!"

"Yeah, I couldn't believe it with Niall either!"

"It was so cute that he started crying at the wedding!" I exclaim.

"It made me so happy! That was the first Niall had cried in front of me."

"Awww! I hope Justin cries at our wedding. I just, these circumstances are so weird! I mean, I don't know where he is! He proposed in the dead of night and then left promising that he would come back for me! And the only reason why I actually know he's alive and that it was real, is this ring! And you know what Anna, if you hadn't thrown it into the grass. Justin would never have found it, and I wouldn't have a way of knowing that it was real. It was a blessing in disguise."

"I'm glad that it worked out. And you know that I'm so sorry about that! I'm so ashamed of myself!"

"It's okay, as I said before it was a blessing in disguise."

"I know, I still feel bad though. But I guess things happen for a reason."

"Every thing happens for a reason. I just hope that whatever is happening with Justin has a good reason. I love him so much. I don't want anything bad to happen to him. I'm incomplete without Justin."

"If I've learned anything about you and Justin. Your love always comes through. It's stronger than anything."

"I hope so, and wherever Niall is. He will find you. And when he does, you two can make out!" I exclaim teasing her. Anna and Niall much to my distress express their affection very openly!

"Haha very funny! But I really do miss kissing him!"

"I think you miss a little more than just kissing him!"

"Kate! Your worse than Selena!"

"Someone has to do her job!" I exclaim. We both break down into bitter sweet laughter.

"Kate! You have to come with me right now!" Anya yells running into my hut looking completely bewildered. She grabs my hand and yanks me out. I chase her down some winding paths in the Jungle until we arrive at a cliff that overlooks the ocean. Standing at the edge of a cliff holding the missing little girl with a gun aimed at her head is Justin.
