Because Of You

CHAPTER 51

I'm here in the school waiting for the meeting to end. I actually don't want to attend this but they said I'm needed here because they need my own ideas so I don't have any choice.

Leigh is in my condo right now because she will be competing in an upcoming competition. I almost fired the person who suggested her as our school's representative because she just got out of the hospital. I suggested Cehir but they declined because she's also competing for another competition.

This argument led to another misunderstanding between me and Leigh. She told me that it's fine which I refused. But because she's so stubborn I can't do anything but to mentor her right now.

She's so stubborn...

I wonder what she is doing right now. Is she reviewing? I already miss her... I want to hug her right now.

I sighed as I remembered another moment with her. We literally always get into an argument because of my attitude and her stubbornness.

"Can you shut up?!" I irritatedly said to her because she keeps on shaking me while I'm reading.

"Gusto ko lang makipag-usap sayo." She pouted and I just pinched her nose and I earned a whine.

"I'm reading can't you see?" I angrily said as I gently pushed her away.

"Grabe ka sa manliligaw mo..." I rolled my eyes at her and didn't bother to look at her.

"Shut up." I let out a deep sigh before fixing my glasses and continued reading.

"Ganyan ka na huhuhu." She acted like she was crying and that made me roll my eyes.

Since she's the great Skyleigh Maureen Velasco, she will not listen to me because she is so stubborn.

She continued whining which irritates me because I can't focus on what I'm reading.

"Leigh, just shut up please." She crossed her arms and looked straight.

"Okay. Hahanap na lang ako ibang babae." I scoffed and just rolled my eyes because of irritation.

"Then go ahead." I coldly said and didn't even look at her.

"Talaga." She turned her back on me and I just rolled my eyes.

As if she can do that to me...

I take a glance when I feel there is a person standing in front of our table. It's a girl. I looked at Leigh and she just smiled at the girl.

Well I guess she can...

I just sighed and tried focusing on what I'm reading right now. Trying to at least listen to their conversation.

"Hi you're Skyleigh, right?" My eyebrows quickly rose when I heard what the girl said.

"Yes I am."

"OMG hi!!!" The girl excitedly said and stretched her hands.

"Hi! Do you need anything?" Leigh also smiled and shook her hand.

"I have been admiring you for awhile now." I teared up when I heard what the girl said.

Another competitor... She doeydeserve me. I just always give attitude. I don't even know how she can handle my attitude. I don't know how she can even handle me. I know to myself that I'm too much but she just stayed... Do I really deserve her?

"Thank you."

"I j-just want to a-ask i-if I can ask you out?" I bit my lip to stop my self crying when she asked that to Leigh.
