Chapter 5

*1 month later

After a month full of practice, hard work and new friendships, the big day of the performance finally came and all of them were more than ready to make all the students swoon.

Everybody was wearing bright red clothing and shining make up, and confidently they went up the stage, already having the students applaud at them. Then the performance started and except their voices, nothing else was heard as everybody held their breath.

After the performance ended, everybody present in the performance hall applauded as loud as they could, and a few whistles were heard too. It made all of them, especially Yoona and Yeji squeal in delight.

But there weren't only the students and the teachers watching.

Some of the students who had already graduated were present too to watch their juniors.

As they went down the stage, their assistant dancing professor, Jimin, ran to them and hugged them all one by one, squealing like a little girl.

"I'm so proud of you, my lovelies! Very good job you did right there! I can safely say you could become idols right away if you wanted" he said, bouncing happily.

"Yeah, you guys were indeed impressive" a deep voice said and an arm was swung over Jimin's shoulder.

Yoona's eyes and mouth opened wide in surprise.

"Taehyung?! What are you doing here?" she asked, while Jimin and the others eyed them weirdly.

"I'm one of the students who have already graduated from this university. I majored in acting" he said with a sweet smile.

"We graduated together and are best friends since children, guys, meet Taehyung " Jimin grinned.

"Nice to meet you Taehyung" they all said in choir, like first grade children would greet the new teacher at school.

"Anyway, I dropped by to say that your performance was truly impressing, is any of you in the acting department?" he asked, hopeful eyes scanning each of them.

"Erm, no" Felix said, and everybody nodded, since nobody among them aspired to major in acting. The disappointment in Taehyung's eyes caught them off guard though.

"What a shame, you're really good with your facial expressions. Especially you" he pointed at Yoona, whose eyes lit up at that statement.

"What about me?" Jungkook grumbled.

"Ehmm, maybe you could work on your facial expressions a bit more. You were good, but not as good as her" Taehyung said while scratching his nape, feeling awkward.

Well, until Shuhua burst into laughter at Jungkook's face, which looked like he was ready to punch Taehyung across his handsome face.

"Anyway guys, nice to meet you, but now I gotta go. See you around" Taehyung said, waving at them and then left, not before shooting Yoona a smile.

Yeji smirked at Yoona without the latter noticing.

Then their other professors came at them to congratulate.

"I'm truly proud of you, all of you guys' dancing was awesome" Mr. Lee smiled, and it was their first time seeing him do so, which made them glad.

"The vocals were truly magic tonight, it was a blessing to my ears. Good job everyone" Mr. Kim said, nodding with a soft smile at each of them who sang that night. Well, at everybody except Felix and Yoona, who were the rappers.

"You two who rapped were nice too" then Mr. Kim said at the two, making them blush.

"To have the vocals professor congratulate my students, that's an occasion. Good job fellas, you were truly good today" Mr. Min grinned, doing a stylish handshake with Felix and then Yoona.

Then the group dispersed, each of the students going to their respective group of friends or discussing with one of the professors.

Just as Yoona was about to follow Yeji to the restroom, Mr. Min stopped her.

"Yoona, can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure Mr. Min, what is it?" she asked.

"Well, first of all, drop the formalities. It's just me and you, so feel free to call me by my name" he smiled.

"Uhh, sure...but I don't have any idea what your name is" Yoona grinned awkwardly.

"Yoongi"

"Oh my, our names are so alike!" Yoona gasped, making Yoongi chuckle at her overdramatic self.

"Funny thing, we also look alike. I've heard around the campus we're lost siblings" Yoongi chuckled.

"Yeah, there is something wild like that going around, I've heard it too. And well, my older bro isn't happy at all with it" Yoona sighed, remembering all the times Jungkook would frown and get in a bad mood whenever he heard something like that weird rumor.

"Well, I just wanted to ask you, is there any chance we're like some kind of relatives, we truly look alike and it's weird" Yoongi frowned.

"I highly doubt that, my parents didn't really have many relatives and all of them live abroad. Maybe just weird coincidence" Yoona shrugged.

"I guess so. Well, other than that, I wanted to say that today you really were the star of the night, the center of attention. I know we've discussed about which department will you choose in your third year, but I kindly ask of you to reconsider it. You'd make a great rapper" Yoongi tried, hopeful eyes staring at her apologetic ones.

"I'm sorry, but I've already made up my mind. Dancing is my future, my dream, my passion. Rap is just a talent of mine which I decided to develop a little during uni, but that's all. I'm sorry, but I'll have to decline" Yoona pressed her lips into a thin line, and then with a bow to Yoongi she left.

Throughout her whole conversation, and while going to the females' restroom, she felt as if someone was staring at her, but whenever she'd look behind, there would be no one. It was stressing her out and it felt creepy, but she shook it all off the moment she met Yeji, who upon noticing her, started wiggling her eyebrows weirdly.

"What's with that Taehyung guy, honey?" she asked in a sing song voice.

"Nothing, why?" Yoona asked, clueless as to what Yeji meant.

"Maybe that's true for you, but damn, throughout our whole conversation he was only looking at you and didn't even once get his eyes off you. Did you notice how he smiled at you before leaving? He definitely has something for you" Yeji grinned, while Yoona mustered a toothy and awkward smile.

It would be better if I didn't tell her he's my neighbor, she'd start with her weird conspiracies and plans...

And with that, Yoona swiftly changed the topic of the conversation, knowing that if they keep talking about Taehyung, something might slip out of her mouth.
