Auntie are you sure you don't need me to stay and look after yall. No girl we'll be fine and besides I am not hindering your life. It's not a problem I can move back home. And what about your father, I thought yall were building a relationship? A relationship ugh negative on that I mumbled to myself, it's something like that. How do you like being out there in Vegas? It's hot! You don't like it do you, she said patting the seat next to her. It's not Vegas that I don't like. Ahh what has my brother done now? I don't want to bore you with that story, nor do I want to complain, I know I am very fortunate to have him as my father. Bull Shit! Auntie! What its complete bull shit, you don't have to tell me, I know he has you living in that house with those whores, does he have you dancing as well. No Auntie, I don't dance, in fact he keeps me far away from that room. So, what do you do while you're there? I keep the books for the dancers. The books. Yeah, I count the money, make sure everyone pays their money and I do the bank deposits. And what about your schooling, you did finish your last year correctly? Yes, I did it through an online program and finished it in 6 months. No prom! I wouldn't have gone to Prom anyway, I really wanted to finish it quickly so I could go to college. And! And it's been hard, I have good grades, but every time I get close to getting an offer I get denied. Where did you apply? University of Miami, NYC, UCLA, USC, UT, you name I applied to it, and I still didn't get in. Have you told your father maybe he can help you. You know I thought that when I asked him and he laughed in my face, and then told me "Why you would want to leave a place where I make so much to do nothing". You think he's blocking you getting into those schools. Think! I know he was. Was meaning past tense. I'm going into my Junior year at UNLV. Get out of here you in college girl. Yes ma'am, I am. I am so proud of you. Thank you, but my father doesn't know, and I'd like to keep it that way as well. How does he not know isn't he paying your tuition. Oh yeah, he pays it, he just doesn't know I said smirking at her. He doesn't...oh ok I see she said smiling, well you just keep your head in those books Cici she said chuckling as I helped her with some stuff in her room.

I knew my father was evil, but I didn't know he was that evil to stand in the way of me getting an education. At first, I thought it was a coincidence but when I saw the head of admissions for USC going into a private VIP suite with Honey, I knew there was something going on, not soon after that did, I get the letter saying that I didn't get in. They had already accepted the cap for Freshman. How the hell he found out about USC I don't know because I only asked about applying to NYU. After that I was denied by pretty much every other university there is. And then Mariposa tells me about the Dean of Admissions from the University of Miami also being in his suite and him telling him that I lied on my application I knew he was a real-life devil. I had no reason to lie or make up the information I put in my college essay, and I would think that a Dean of Admissions would recognize that. But then again, he was a man, and all men tend to think alike when it comes to women in education. Thank God the University of Nevada Las Vegas has a women Dean of Admissions, or I'd probably never have gotten in there either. I was indebted to Mariposa for helping me get into that university when I thought there was no way. And I told her that every day that we rode together to school. I miss her being at the ranch, she was one of the few girls I could actually get to on my level.

And what exactly do you know Cierra, my father said coming into the into the room unannounced. I know that she misses me, and I miss her too, I said smiling at her. She looked at me and then my father before going along with the story I was telling. I wanted to talk to you Angela if that's ok. Sure, that's fine go-ahead baby, we'll talk more later. Ok Auntie I am gonna go check on Lulu, I said walking past my father while looking at him and down. He thinks he got everyone fooled with this façade he puts off as this well to do real estate investor. I'd seen the books and I knew more than probably anyone else how much money he made in that ranch. I also knew how much money was being hidden as well. I had my reservations about Diamond from the beginning, but never did I think she was smart enough to turn the system against itself. Some girls were paying into the general fund while a select few were paying into themselves yet they he had no clue. While my father was speaking with my aunt, I took the time to check my voicemail and see what messages I had. I'd gotten through 3 messages before getting to one I wasn't expecting.
