"Coming to the stage Syn!"
Another night, Another dollar! You'd think I'd get tired of going in and out of these clubs every night entertaining these men and sometime women. And to be honest I really don't, because the job is easy money with low impact. I keep my body right and my mind on this money and let nothing come between the two. I took a deep breath before walking out on stage to perform. I was a rare find, because I had a home club back in LA, but I also traveled to different cities doing spotlights. Not any girl could do spotlight though, you had to have a demand for you to come to that club, and the club also had to be established meaning they had to have the funds to pay for a girl like me to come to their city. I don't pay for anything they provide, housing, food, and entertainment for me to come to their club and in exchange I drive up their attendance. The people will flock to see me, thus bringing more money into the club. I do have a couple of demands when I visit these cities though, the first is that the current girls know I am coming, I learned a long time ago, not to step on others toes and I really don't have time to be fighting over some little chump change. The second is I work for no one I negotiate my own fee, so if your club makes a 100k on a night that I am there I want at least 40% of it. And the third and final rule I always follow is never get attached to anyone, this job ain't about making friends, it's about getting money! I have friends and family outside of the industry I don't need any more.
I proceeded to dance as the people threw money on the stage. I didn't make eye contact with anyone, as not to lead them on, instead I made them think I wanted them, and they parted with their money. After about 10 minutes of dancing I was done, I collected my clothing and watched from the side as the girls collected the money for me. That's the most common mistake these girls make, is not making sure they get all of their money. You can't trust everyone and you dang sure can't trust the ones collecting it. Within a few minutes they were bringing me the bags and I was off to the dressing room to get dressed and head back to my room. The night was over for performers, so now it was just table dancing and VIP rooms. Neither of which I did so I collected my money and made exit.
Dang girl you cleaned up out there tonight, one of the girls said as she handed me a bag. Thanks, I said to her. The other girls trickled in with their bags, leaving me with 10 bags to count. I guess I better get to it. I counted all of the bags before getting dressed and going over to the owner's suite. Ms. Syn, you cease to amaze me he said with a big smile on his face. I am sure you made a lot of money tonight. I did a whole lot. Well, I am 20k short so. No problem baby girl here you go he said sliding over the stacks of money to me. It's always a pleasure doing business with you. You still given any consideration to that job offer? As I told you before I like the way things are, no emotion and no attachment. I dance and then I go home. I am not trying to be tied down to one place. You're guaranteed money here! I am guaranteed money everywhere I go. You just like having me here for other reasons, I said smirking at him. Can't fault me for trying. I am not going to do this always and I am not trying to be tied to it. I get it. Where are you headed next? Vegas I need a little R&R and I am meeting up with some friends if that's ok with you. Real funny Syn, I am just making sure you ok. I am fine and thanks for the money I said making my way out of his office.
You ready to go back to the hotel, Shai said to me as we made our way down the hall. Yup I am. Shai is my twin brother, we're the oldest of 5 and the first set of twins my father had. Growing up I never imagined I'd be dancing for a living. I only took the job to help out with some bills around the house and get a head start saving money to start my business. Once the money started rolling in and the bills started getting covered, it was hard to stop and next thing I knew, I am the sole breadwinner for my family. I won't go into my parents' tumultuous relationship because we'd be here all day, and no one has time for that. I can't take all the credit for taking care of the family cause Shai does his share as well. He's in the security business. He is normally hired out by people for private parties and semi-famous celebrities in town. He didn't like me dancing and certainly didn't trust this traveling dancer thing, so he offered to travel with me. I roll his fee into my payment, because he has a family, and I would never do my brother wrong.
