"She did what! I said yelling through the phone! Hell, no she is not supposed to..."

Excuse me for a moment, please I said excusing myself from the client I was meeting with. I stepped out of the room and walked down a little bit. Angel, what the hell did you just say? She tried to pick Siyahira up from school and the school called mama cause they didn't have her name on the pick-up list. As they wouldn't because she's a not a relative that is listed. Mama was freaking out and called the cops. Oh god. She's trying to get into see her lawyer asap. But... But what Angel? The retainer is five thousand and she ain't got that right now. What you mean she ain't got that right now, where is her retirement check? She's been using that to cover the expenses for the house. Angel, I cover the expenses for the house, so again where is her retirement check going? I promised I wouldn't say. Well, you talking now so go ahead and say it? Medical bills! Medical bills for what? I shouldn't because I am already to mad about it. Girl if you don't quit playing and just tell me. Daddy! Huh! Daddy apparently, they are still somehow connected, and she's been paying his medical debt. The hell! That man walked out on us 15 years ago. I know! You know what Angel I'll be there this weekend, don't even worry about it. Shelly please don't act a fool. A fool is the bare minimum of what I am going to act when I get there, first his mama trying to kidnap my baby and now mama paying medical bills for a man that ran off on her. Nope I am gonna act a complete donkey. Well, I can't say I didn't warn mama what is about to happen. You ain't said nothing but a thang, I'll handle it this weekend. I gotta get back into this meeting I'll touch base with you later. Ok love you sis. Love you too I said hanging up the phone.

She got some nerve going to my baby's school. And how did she even find out where she went to school because I know ain't no one in my family told her that information. In fact, the only person that knows where her school is...Armando! I had to get myself under control because I couldn't go back in this room on a thousand and scare off my client. No this was one my biggest clients to date and I definitely needed to stay on her good side to make sure my name got to the right people. I am so sorry about that; it was a slight family crisis. I completely understand that she said smiling at me. She was a very interesting and unique woman. In that she wasn't from Las Vegas, and it showed. I don't know how it was that she found out about me, but we've had this meeting the works for weeks and were finally able to set down and discuss the plans for this custom item that she wanted. So where were we I said picking up my pen again and smiling at her.

We met for a little longer before the appointment was over. I sketched her a few ideas and she told me to pick the most flattering one for her body type. That's when I knew something was unusual about her, cause no woman in her right mind would ever just give complete control like that to a designer. Especially not a white woman at that. Nope they'd want every single measurement down to the T and it better not make them look fat either. But as I said she was a different type of woman. And I could tell she was powerful with money and resources, so I didn't argue with her. I told her I'd send over the final drawing in a few days.

Once I was done with the meeting with her, I closed up my shop for the day before paying a little visit to Armando cause I know he had something to do with them finding out where my baby went to school. I parked and went into the gym knowing that he'd be there. That's where he always his is when he's not with his little boyfriend. Armando! I said, getting his attention. He looked at me and rolled his eyes before coming over to the edge of the ring. What do you want Shelly? We need to talk privately and now. About what, your little job ain't paying enough and now you wanna come back to me he said smirking. It pays more than you think and no I don't want you back. If memory serves me correct you in a whole relationship. I am not in a damn relationship. Could have fooled me. Come outside and talk to me now I said giving him the eye before turning and walking back out of the gym. Just as I knew he would he came right out. What! First of all, calm the attitude down because I ain't did nothing to you. But apparently you been running your mouth about my business. What are you talking about Shelly? Siyah, you told someone where she goes to school at cause that women tried to take my baby from the school. Hold up a minute I don't even know what you're talking about. Mando please don't play with me, you're the only other person that knows where she goes to school at. Ok that doesn't mean I told anyone anything. If you ain't noticed I haven't even gone back to Modesto. Yeah, but telephones work as well. You think I called somebody back in Modesto to set that up? I didn't, he said shaking his head. Does your sister know. No did you ever let her take her to school? I want to know how they find out where she goes to school. It wasn't me honestly. My sister never took her anywhere I know how you felt about that.
