"Bela! Hey Lynn! You nervous she said handing me the champagne glass. Extremely numerous, this is my first big video project it's one thing to do photography but a big project like this is a big deal. Girl, you worrying about the wrong thing, you did an awesome job and from the few clips I did see, the world ain't ready for you girl. You think so. I know so. Shake off your nerves and get yourself together to come and talk to the people she said patting my back before walking off."

I took a few sips of champagne before going out to mingle with the people at the event. I had to walk a very fine line doing this documentary, I kept it very low key and didn't advertise it to anyone and especially not the mysterious New York times interviewer that blew into town either. I thought it was funny that he came in wanting to talk about the club and then he all the sudden starts asking questions about a particular person. A person that by the way wasn't missing at all, no she was very much still in Las Vegas living her life as if she wasn't being hunted by a psychopath. But we aren't here to discuss her, we'd spent far too much time discussing her a.... Now we're focusing on the real people behind the ranch. The people that had given more than needed to make sure the ranch was successful and what did they get in return? A few bucks and a reputation.

As I maneuvered through space interacting with different people, I began to notice something very interesting and that was that as many people as there were that frequented the ranch there were even more that wanted to take it down as well. Most of these people had never even stepped foot in the ranch but they had already made up their minds about us. They thought we were morally irresponsible people who just woke up and decided we wanted to be in this lifestyle. Now don't get me wrong, some are what they think they, but a fast majority of us aren't. We're victims or our circumstances. Even Rocci! It's not that I hate her, I just don't trust her and I know how dangerous she is. But even in her evil state of mind she's still human and I am sure she's suffered some terrible experiences in her life but that's no reason to go on a killing spree to feel better or to escape your demons. She had a lot of demons too. It wasn't long before Lynn took the stage and began her speech about how important it was to tell the story of exploited people and how they make their way into the industry. This documentary wasn't about exposing anyone, it was the one putting a spotlight on an industry that basically built America to what it is today.

I was still a little nervous but it had subsided after a few sips of champagne. Please don't tell me you over here nervous and shit You're supposed to be working tonight Emerald I said laughing a little bit. And miss my big sister's debut of her film I think not. How would Sapphire feel hearing you say that? She has her a favorite person and I have mine that doesn't take away from her and I sharing the same DNA. You, too much Emerald. I am just enough for you to handle. Now tell me who all these bougie people are she said looking around. They're community activists, film people, and nonprofit organizations. Mhm all of them? Why do you say that? You don't recognize that man over there. Who I said casually looking over to where she was looking? What is he doing here? Being his normal self, I am assuming. He's really looking for a needle in a haystack. I wonder if they have him permanently assigned to our ass or is it a personal thing for him. I doubt that the city of Las Vegas is wasting money looking for some dead prostitute that got herself in trouble. Prostitute she said looking at me. Watch the video and you'll find out all about Ms. Gina and how she came to end up at the ranch. I thought she came here with Venus. Did she really or did she walk Venus into a trap knowing what would eventually happen. Hmph, you learn something new every day she said sipping her drink.

Please welcome Ms. Bela Marquez to the podium, Lynn said catching me off guard. Go on girl I got your back Emerald said taking my glass from me. I held my head up high and walked up on stage.

"Hello everyone, as Lynn said my name is Bela Marquez and I am the videographer for this documentary. It's very near and dear to my heart because I was once one of the individuals in the video. And despite what some may think none of us grew up wanting to be in this industry we were forced into it. Our circumstance didn't allow us to go ivy league colleges or hell even state funded colleges. Some of us were left in situations where we had no other choice but to do this work. It's degrading and of course we'd love to do something different but we don't have that luxury. So, the next time you see a girl or a guy walking on the strip or for those that like frequent certain clubs I said focusing directly on Detective Benavides, just remember that they aren't their circumstances. Thank you everyone and I hope you enjoy the documentary."
