"Me thwee! Me thwee!" An excited little toddler jumped on Mark's bed where Donghyuck and Mark were cuddling in, feeling the light weight of their son throwing his body on top them. Weeks had gone by and it was a Friday, meaning today was finally Dongmin's third birthday! Donghyuck and Mark giggled at their newly three year old son who pulled down their covers, revealing Donghyuck in Mark's hoodie and Mark shirtless. The little body squeezed his tiny body between the two adults, practically sitting on his daddy's—who whined—face as he poked his papas cheeks who giggled out loud. "Me thwee, Papa!"

Donghyuck forced himself to sit up as he giggled, pulling his son on his lap from Mark's face. Dongmin slithered his body underneath the hoodie Donghyuck was wearing so that he was even closer to hug his papa, standing up in his hoodie to poke his head through—Donghyuck's and Dongmin's faces smushed together with a giggle. Donghyuck pecked all over his son's face as Mark sat up with a sweet smile, "Happy birthday my big baby!" Dongmin squealed in excitement. "Happy birthday!! I want huggies too though, bub," Mark playfully pouted as Dongmin looked at his daddy with a blank expression, a look that Mark is never fazed by.

"Go give daddy a hug, Minmin," Donghyuck commanded softly, gently pinching the three year old's cheek as the little boy nodded and crawled from underneath Donghyuck's hoodie. Dongmin's hair was messy as he climbed over on Mark's lap with his lion onesie, plopping his small bum on his lap and attempted to cross his arms. "What's wrong, bub?" Mark asked, his voice laced with worry while Donghyuck stifled his laughter. If Dongmin was a replica of Donghyuck, he knew that Dongmin wanted his daddy to give him birthday kisses.
"Daddy no kwiss bub," Dongmin pouted his lips with a huff as Donghyuck snickered.

But what Dongmin said did not register in Mark's brain as all he was focusing on what the fact that Dongmin called him daddy for the first time. Donghyuck recognized this and smiled lovingly, reaching over to whisper in his boyfriend's ear. "He wants his birthday kisses from his daddy." And Mark snapped out of it, a single tear escaping his eye before raising Dongmin in the air before bringing him in to kiss his cheeks which left the toddler to have a laughing fit.
Mark embraced Dongmin securely, not being able to contain the smile on his face as watching made Donghyuck tear up with happiness.

These past few weeks have been going by smoothly and quickly. Minho and Donghyuck have been getting to know each other better and hang out occasionally and sometimes including Mark and Dongmin so that his brother could get to know his most favorite people in the world. He even invited Minho to come over later for a mini celebration for Dongmin's birthday this afternoon per his son's request. When Dongmin met Minho officially, he instantly called him uncle which made Mark jealous because at the time, his son still was not calling him daddy.

The day flew by as Donghyuck was waiting for Mark to come pick him and Dongmin up. Class today went very well and Taeyong had the whole class sing Dongmin happy birthday—something they always do for their student when it was their birthday anyway—which made the three year old shy. He had a fun time today, but all he wanted to do was go back home with his parents and play with them. "Say 'bye uncle Taeyong see you later' Dongmin," Donghyuck instructed as Dongmin waved goodbye and hugged Taeyong's leg before running to jump in his daddy's. Taeyong chuckled and told Donghyuck that he and Ten would be arriving to their condo in a little bit.

Mark drove them back home and Dongmin was surprised when he stepped inside that the living room was decorated with birthday decorations, which was why it took the older a little bit to come pick them up. Donghyuck could tell Mark rushed through because the happy birthday banner was slanted which made him snort. "You're never being in charge of decorating again," Donghyuck bursted out laughing as he went over to fix the banner. "Hey, I didn't think I did a bad job. I thought I did pretty good. What do you think, Dongmin?" Mark protested as Dongmin nodded his head with a cheesy grin.
