The next day, Mark and Donghyuck met up to hang out as Mark was talking about his plans for college. "What do you think?" Mark asked, but Donghyuck was too spaced out thinking about his pregnancy and the sonogram in his backpack to even pay attention. "Hyuck?" Mark called out to which Donghyuck finally snapped out of it. "Huh? Sorry, what were you saying?" Donghyuck apologized with a small smile as Mark tiled his head. "Are you okay? Are you still feeling unwell? Do you want to rest?" Mark frowned as he suggested but Donghyuck declined his offer kindly. "I'm okay. What were you saying?"

Mark nodded reluctantly, knowing there was something bothering Donghyuck but he chose not to mention anything. "I'm going to college for English and I'll minor in business management," Mark stated as Donghyuck sadly smiled. Yes, he was proud of Mark for doing what he wants to do but he could not help but feel so distanced from the older. He should not feel that way, but what will happen in college? Mark would surely meet other people, right? Even though he was pregnant with Mark's child, he should not hold that to the older or tell him because it will hinder his focus in school and he did not want that. Mark was very ambitious.

"That sounds like a plan. I know you'll be very successful," Donghyuck said after taking a gulp to prevent his voice from cracking. Mark could see the sadness enveloped in Donghyuck's eyes and it hurt him. "Are you going to college?" Mark suddenly asked and the question made Donghyuck scoff to himself. "No, I'll be staying with my grandparents for the time being," Donghyuck responded in a lie. College was not even close to something he was thinking about. It was too expensive and Donghyuck did not have the finances to pay for it.

Donghyuck tried his best to keep himself together, but the thought of Mark going to college and him leaving the older made his eyes water. He picked at his nails as his lips quivered, biting his bottom lip to keep himself from crying. Mark observed the younger silently and frowned before instantly embracing the younger in his arms tightly which made Donghyuck lose himself and let out a pained sob. To say Mark was worried is an understatement. He was beyond worried and he felt sad that Donghyuck was crying in his arms and he did not even know what it was about or how to help him.

"Shhh," Mark comforted, rubbing Donghyuck's back softly as the younger continued to cry on his shoulder. His shirt was soaked and felt cold but Mark did not care. "It's okay, baby." Mark whispered at the trembling boy in his hold. Donghyuck did not stop his cries any time soon. It was a good thing they were in Mark's apartment and not in public as the older guided them to the couch. Donghyuck was sitting on Mark's lap with his arms tightly around the older, crying onto his shoulder. It was as if Donghyuck was afraid to let go Mark and if he did, he was afraid he would disappear and Mark could feel that just by his hold.

Little did Mark know that it was Donghyuck that would be disappearing from his life and not the other way around.

Haechan slid down the pole with a flirtatious look, planting one foot on the ground while the other was wrapped around the pole. The music can to an end, the strobe lights brightening as the fog on the stage was clearing up. Applause and screams echoed throughout the club while others were taking shots of alcohol. His performance finally came to an end and he had not even realized that a couple hours had gone by. All that went through Donghyuck's mind as he was dancing was the past and how he was going to tell Mark later. He collected the money that was thrown on stage as he waved at the audience before going back to his dressing room.

For once, Donghyuck did not bother counting the amount of money he earned because he did not divide them on the bills he used to have to pay. Instead, he was going to give Mark half of his earnings of money for letting him stay at his condo. He knows Mark will decline his money, but he does not feel right if he does not give the older anything. Mark has done so much for the younger and all Donghyuck did was leave so this was the least he could do in return. He stuffed his money in his bag and decided on staying in his performance outfit instead of changing into a new one because he was too lazy and tired. Plus, Ten was not here to help him display his shimmering beautification.
