After grabbing Tyler some clothes, Tyler and Caroline leave to get ready for school. Seeing as Tyler would be gone until after 2pm, I decide to head to the tavern to pass the time. I'm surprised Jules hasn't found me yet, I haven't seen her since last night. Hopefully when she turned, she wasn't anywhere near people. If she accidentally killed someone as a wolf last night, it could be bad.. As I think that, the sound of approaching footsteps catch my attention. Looking to my right, my eyes widen at what I see. Elijah stood before me, looking down at me. Oh great, just what I needed.. Sighing in annoyance, I lean back on my chair, crossing my legs in annoyance. "They really just let Anyone into this place, don't they.." I say quietly. Ignoring my comment, Elijah bows his head in greeting. "Apologies for the intrusion. Might I have a word..?" He asks. I scoff and shake my head. "Sure. In fact, I'll give you four. 'F*** off, I'm busy.'" I say, glaring up at him. He chuckles at this, before taking a seat across from me, completely ignoring what I had just said. Seeing this, I roll my eyes in annoyance.

"Taking your...less-than-pleasant experience last night, into consideration...I shall ignore your blatant disrespect just now." He says, before we see a waitress coming towards us. Deciding it was best not to attract too much attention, he and I act natural. "Hi, can I get you two started on anything today?" The young woman asks, looking between us with a friendly smile. Giving a kind smile, Elijah speaks. "Nothing for me, but I will take whatever this lovely woman before me would like." He says. Hearing his "compliment", I roll my eyes, and pretend to look at my non-existent watch. "Oh no...would you look at the time. Sorry, I'm suddenly needed somewhere else. Excuse me." I say, shooting a glare towards Elijah, before grabbing my Black Leather jacket, and attempting to leave. However, before I can go far, Elijah speaks. "Ms. Lockwood, was it? Or would you prefer to be called Raelyn..?" He asks, trailing off, as he looks towards me. Hearing him say my family name, stops me in my tracks, as concern for Tyler and mom's safety, wraps around my heart. Sighing, I glance over my shoulder, towards him with a glare. Seeing he had my attention, he gives a victorious smirk.
