Damon charges at Jules, forcing her to dodge, and run. Stefan takes on one of the members with some sort of makeshift flame thrower. I charge towards the camper, before pushing Tyler inside of it. "Stay inside until we clear you and Caroline a path." Is all I say, before my attention is pulled away by one of Jules' minions. They launch a punch my way, forcing me to dodge it, before I quickly kick in his knee, earning a loud snap, and a pained cry. He bends over to cradle his now broken knee, only for me to knee him in the face. He falls onto his back unconscious. One of the other minions hear this and launch at me from behind. Sighing, I shake my head, before turning, and elbowing him in the face, right before kicking him in the stomach, sending him staggering backwards. "Goodnight." Is all I say, before uppercutting, and sending him flying. His body slams to the ground unconscious soon after. Seeing both were down, I give a sigh of relief. If I can get through this without killing anyone, I'll take that as a bonus. I already have one life on my conscience, I'd prefer not to add another.. With that thought, I take the chance to look around for the vamps.
Due to Jules running, Damon had now turned his attention to Brady, and was charging at him. However, one of the minions try to launch a surprise attack on him from the roof of the camper. Although I didn't like Damon, I still decide to warn him. "Damon, on your left!" I call out. Hearing this, Damon quickly turns in that direction, before piercing his hand through the minion's chest, and tearing his heart out. I flinch at the sight, looking away. As I do, I notice Stefan snap his opponent's neck. Flinching again, I decide it best to stop checking on the two brothers. However, as I'm thinking about that, someone catches me offguard, and stabs a blade into my side. I scream in pain, before growling in rage. Ignoring the pain, I break the attacker's hold on the blade, before back handing him as hard as I can. His head snaps to the side, from the force, making him unsteady. Taking full advantage of that, I kick in his knees, forcing him to kneel on the ground. Once there, I deck him as hard as I can. After he's taken care of, I hear a pained cry from Stefan, and quickly look towards him. Seeing him laying on the ground, trying to reach for his back, while a minion stands over him, I narrow my eyes, before looking to the blade still sticking out of my side. Dammit..!
With that final thought, I remove the blade, and launch it towards the minion. However, due to the force I put behind it, and how unstable I currently was, I lose my balance, and fall to the ground. Raising my head, I watch as the blade cuts through the air, before embedding itself into the minion's Achilles. He cries out in agony, dropping to the ground, now unable to stand. Smirking in satisfaction, I speak. "Doesn't feel too good, now does it?" I ask loudly, earning an angry glare from the minion. Scoffing in amusement, I force myself to stand up again, before putting pressure on my wound, and walking towards Stefan, who still was on the ground. "Should've thought about that before you attacked." I scold the minion, and kick him out of my way. Getting closer to Stefan, I see why he still wasn't up. A wooden steak protruded from his back, just out of reach of his hand. Sighing and shaking my head, I grab the stake, and quickly remove it. He growls in pain. "Walk it off princess. That's what I'm doing." I say, tossing away the wooden stake, before removing the hand I used to put pressure on my wound, and holding it out for him. Glaring at me, he silently takes my hand. Biting back the sharp pain I was feeling, I pull him up.
The moment Stefan was to his feet, more minions come out of nowhere, and slam into us, knocking both of us to the ground. Groaning in pain, I roll over, to see who attacked. The moment I do, my attacker pulls out a blade, and launches it towards me. I quickly latch onto the attacker's wrists, stopping his weapon from getting any closer to me. My arms shook as I fought against his strength. I growl in desperation, as time goes on. "Stefan...a little help would be nice.." I groan out. "A little busy at the moment.." Stefan says, gritting his teeth, as he fights against his own attacker. "What good is being a Vampire if you can't even fight off one guy?!" I scold him in annoyance. "If it's strength you want, you'll have to ask Damon for help.." He says in a strained voice. As if on queue, a gunshot echoes through the trees, catching everyone's attention. Looking in that direction, I see Jules holding a gun, and Damon falling to the ground. After a few seconds of shocked silence, I snap out of it. "He seems to be a bit busy at the moment.." I say, still holding back the attacker's blade. Movement out of the corner of my eye, catches my attention.
Looking in that direction, I see Caroline come out of the camper, only to be pinned against it by Jules. Tyler was at the doorway, looking on in fear. I glance around the area, even though we had fought quite a bit already, there was still more minions standing. Caroline was being held at gunpoint, Tyler was unable to do anything other than watch, Stefan and I were pinned to the ground, and Damon was about to get staked by Brady. Things aren't looking good, we'll need a miracle to get out of this mess now.. As if answering my thoughts, the sound of chanting begins echoing through the trees.
Soon, all of Jules' remaining pack; including her and Brady; begins screaming in pain, before falling to the ground one by one. The moment mine and Stefan's attackers drop their weapons, and fall, I furrow my brows. "What the hell..?" I breath out, before the sound of a twig snapping finds my ears. Quickly looking in that direction, I see an unfamiliar man, walking onto the scene, hands spread out, head down, as he continues to chant in an unfamiliar language. "Who the hell is that..?" I think outloud. Hearing this, Stefan looks at the unfamiliar man too. After a few moments of silence, he sighs in relief, laying onto his back, as he speaks. "Elijah.." Stefan breathes out, taking another relieved sigh. Hearing this, my brows furrow, and I look towards the unfamiliar man again. "Elijah..? But...how did..?" I ask, trailing off in confusion, as Stefan stands.
Hearing this, the unfamiliar man looks at the both of us, stopping to look at me. "Elijah made a promise to you and Elena. I'm here to see it's upheld. You all need to go." The unfamiliar man says. Hearing this, Stefan nods, before helping me up. Nodding to him in thanks, I look to Tyler, who looks to me. "Come on, time to go home.." I say, motioning for him to come with me. However, he doesn't move. I furrow my brows. "They won't stay down for long, you need to get out of here." The unfamiliar man says to me. "I know, I'll leave as soon as I get my brother." I say to the man, before looking back to Tyler. "Tyler, we can't stay here, we need to go." I say again. He still doesn't move. Seeing this, my eyes widen in shock. "...Tyler..?" I ask in disbelief. Hearing my voice, Tyler finally averts his gaze, and looks to Jules. Knowing what that meant, a pang of sadness pierces my chest. "Ty..?" I ask, my voice cracking. "Rae...you heard him, we need to get out of here, before they recover.." Stefan says. "But...Tyler.." I say, still not wanting to believe it. "You still have your end of the promise to uphold Rae, you cannot stay here any longer." The unfamiliar man says, looking to me. "The little brat made his choice, now get moving if you want a ride back, I don't have all day." Damon calls back, from a few feet away. I look to Tyler again, ignoring Damon. As I look over Tyler's expression, I see no hint of compliance from him. Realizing this, I narrow my eyes sadly, and lower my head in silence. "Fine.." I say quietly, before turning towards the unfamiliar man. Nodding silently in thanks, I leave the camper behind with the other's.
