To say it felt weird was an understatement. But, it had to be done, I knew that. So, I let him do what he had to do. He still needs me for the Ritual, so at least I know he won't kill me.. As I think that, I'm snapped out of my thoughts with a surprised flinch, as I feel his fangs pierce my skin. Guess it was too much to hope that the small cut would be enough for him...ah, well, at least he was nice about it...I think..? Unless Vampire bites just aren't meant to hurt. Who knows, lending blood to Vamps isn't exactly a hobby of mine...maybe I'll ask Elena.. I raise a brow at that thought, before shaking my head. Nah, I'll pass. The less time I spend around her, the better..
Finally, after a while, he retracts his fangs, and releases my wrist. "Feel better?" I ask. He nods and looks to the bite mark he left. Narrowing his eyes, he sighs, before meeting my gaze. "I will not forget what you've done for me tonight, Ms. Lockwood. I will repay your kindness one day, I Give You My Word." He says with a nod. Hearing the seriousness in his voice, I scoff, and wave him off. "It's fine, don't worry about it." I say, standing up, only for my head to spin, at the sudden movement. Placing a hand to my forehead, I stagger forward, but manage to catch myself at the last second. Seeing this, Elijah sighs. "You have just given me a large portion of your blood, Ms. Lockwood. Your body is not used to losing so much at once. It would be wise for you to rest." He says, placing a hand to my shoulder, steadying me.
"Yeah, probably for the best.." I say, before reaching out to the wall behind me, and using it as a support, so I can slide down it, and sit. Elijah helps guide me down, just in case. Once down, I sigh, and rest my head against the wall. "But only for a little while. I still need to make a trip home." I say. "Would it be wise to do so? As you said before, the Salvatore's will find out sooner or later." He says. "It wouldn't be a long trip, the house is just through those trees. I was just going to see if I could grab one of my dad's old suits for you, since yours was ruined by whatever the brothers did to your body." I say, motioning up and down towards the tattered remains of his suit. "You look to be the same size as he was, so it should be fine." I say.
"Besides, I need to grab some blankets for myself. Camping out in the middle of the woods gets chilly, even for me." I say. Hearing this, he nods in understanding. "Then, allow me to bring you there. You should be steady enough by then." He says. Thinking about this, I look him over. "You seem like you're back to normal, were you able to revive fully?" I ask. He nods. "Mostly, yes. Come tomorrow, the process will be complete. Then, if it seems my revival has not yet been made known, I will be seeking Elena out, for an explanation on her betrayal." He says. Confused, I speak. "Betrayal?" I ask. Seeing my confusion, he sighs. "I will explain once we have returned from your house." He says. Nodding in acceptance, I sigh, and check my phone for the time. "Alright. We shouldn't have too much of an issue once there. Mom's usually in dad's study around this time." I say. Nodding in understanding, Elijah holds out his hand to me.
Taking it, I stand up, and soon, we're in my yard. Walking to the door, I carefully glance inside the house, to make sure the study door was closed. Seeing it was, I sigh in relief, and quietly open the door. Once inside, I motion for him to follow, before heading upstairs. As long as I don't rush, I should be fine to walk on my own.. Even though I'm careful, Elijah makes sure to be close by, just incase.
Once upstairs, I lead him to the Master Bedroom's closet. Opening it up, I point out all of dad's suits, that mom still couldn't bring herself to pack up. "Grab whichever one you want, I'm gonna head to my room, to grab a few things. Once you have one, I'll meet you outside." I say, before making my way to my room. After stuffing a duffle-bag, I close my bedroom door, and make my way to the door. Quietly walking outside, I see Elijah waiting in the new suit. "I see you found one. Bet that feels better." I say, quietly closing the door behind me. He nods, and looks to the bag I held. "Are you certain you are comfortable doing this? You barely know me, yet you are willing to stay the night in an abandoned cell together.." He trails off. I don't know when the brothers will find out, but I don't want to put mom in danger, by staying at the house.. "Someone's gotta keep you out of trouble. Besides...now that the rescue mission has finished...there's some things Elena told me tonight...things that I think you should know.." I say, as we walk into the trees. "Is that so..?" He asks, as we follow the path. "Yeah.." I say, sighing. "I didn't say something earlier, because of everything going on at the time, but...it's...about Klaus.." I say. Hearing this, he immediately stops in his tracks, and glances over his shoulder towards me. "I see...please, continue." He says. "He's apparently...here...in Mystic Falls.." I say, before sighing. "I haven't seen him myself, or met him, but...that's what she told me.." I say. "But, if you want to know more, I'm afraid Elena's the only one who can give you answers.." I say. "To be honest...I also want answers, so I want to go with you tomorrow...if that's okay. As you can probably guess, they haven't exactly kept me in the loop. So, I'm completely in the dark here." I say. He thinks to himself, before nodding in agreement. "Very well. You and I will seek out answers from Elena together. I too, wish to know what I've missed in my absence.." he says. With that said, we make our way to our temporary quarters.
