Third Person's P.O.V.
A half an hour later..
As Kol attempts to harrass Dr. Fell inside Mystic Grill, Alaric comes out of nowhere, stabbing him in the chest with an Original killing dagger. Once Kol's body goes limp, Alaric looks around to make sure no one was looking. Once he sees it's clear, Alaric drags him towards the Grill's back entrance, to meet up with Damon and Stefan.
Raelyn's P.O.V.
I worriedly look up at the night sky, as Elijah and I are searching around town for Kol and Klaus, so we could warn them. As we do, however, Elijah suddenly stops, placing his hand to his chest. Seeing him stop, I furrow my brows, and speak. "Elijah..? What is it? What's wrong?" I ask concerned. Instead of answering, he slowly turns towards me. As he does, he attempts to speak, staggering, as he slowly reaches out towards me. "Rae...lyn.." is all he's able to get out, before he begins to collapse. Seeing him falling, my eyes widen, as fear immediately crashes over me. "Elijah..!" I call out in concern, before using my Vampiric Speed to cross the small distance between us, and catch him in my arms. "Elijah..?! Elijah, what's wrong..?!" I ask in a panic, as he struggles to breathe. Unsure of what's happening, I quickly lower him to the ground, desperately searching him for injuries. As I do, however, I notice blackened veins slowly spreading across his body. Knowing what that meant, my eyes widen in fear.
"No, no, no..! Dammit, stay with me, Elijah..!" I plead to him, as his eyes begin to close. "This can't be happening...it's not even time yet, there's no way your mother could have finished..!" I say, barely above a whisper. Unfortunately, even as I say that, I watch on helplessly, as the dark veins reach the top of his head. Soon after, the light in his eyes fades away, his skin turning Grey. With that, his head slowly lulls to the side, before his body goes limp. Seeing this, my eyes widen, and I freeze. "Elijah..?" I call out to him, my voice cracking. There's no response. "No.." I say, shaking my head, as I gently place my hand to his cheek. "Elijah..?" I repeat. Seeing there's still no response, I begin to shake my head in denial, my vision blurring rapidly. "No...no, please.." I beg, clutching at his jacket, as my body begins to tremble. "Not...not you too.." I say barely above a whisper, before my head lowers, and the tears finally fall.
