Two days later..

As I'm relaxing on the back porch, my phone goes off. Seeing the caller ID, my brows furrow. Caroline..? What's she calling me for..? Confused, I answer. "Well, this is new." I say into the phone. "Where are you?!" Is the first thing she says to me. Furrowing my brows, I speak. "Why..?" I ask. "Because you need to call Tyler and talk some sense into him!" She says quickly. Even more confused, I sit up straight. "Why, what's he up to now?" I ask concerned. "I'll tell you what he's up to, he's being a Martyr! He and Hayley are planning on ambushing Klaus tonight, with the 12 Hybrids he freed!" She says in a panic. Hearing this, my eyes widen, and I immediately stand. "Is he out of his mind?!" I ask shocked. "That's what I said! You need to talk some sense into him!" She says. That idiot..! Sighing, I shake my head, and speak. "Alright, alright, I'll try. But I doubt it will work, he hasn't answered any of my calls or messages I sent him, since the night Mikael was killed! It's like he's pi***d at me for something, and I don't even know what it is.." I admit, pinching the bridge of my nose, and sighing once again. "Try it anyways! Blackmail him if you need to, just do something!" She says, before hanging up.

Sighing, and cursing under my breath, I dial Tyler's number, as I glance inside the cabin, seeing if Elijah was back yet

Sighing, and cursing under my breath, I dial Tyler's number, as I glance inside the cabin, seeing if Elijah was back yet. Seeing the living room empty, I sigh in relief. Good, last thing I need is him to get involved. I need to settle this before it gets ugly.. Sighing, I continue to listen to the phone beeps. If he doesn't answer his God damn phone, I swear, I'm gonna..! The call is ignored. Sighing in annoyance, I quickly type a message. 'Tyler, I swear to God, if you don't call me back, Klaus will be the least of your worries when I'm done with you!!' I send. Once it's sent, I watch it closely. After a few moments, a notification saying 'read' pops up next to it. For a while, nothing happens, making me growl in annoyance. But soon, Tyler's name pops up from the top of my screen, along with the 'answer' and 'reject' options. I answer it within seconds. "What the hell are you thinking?!" I say immediately, earning an annoyed sigh. "Caroline told you. Why am I not surprised.." he says annoyed. "You're damn right she told me, are you out of your mind?! Did you even think about what could happen if you fail?!" I scold him immediately.

"Allow me enlighten you. Klaus has survived for 1000+ years, because he has always been one step ahead of everyone who went against him! When you fail, he won't just stop at killing you. He will kill everyone and everything you ever cared about! In your case, that means Caroline, Hayley, all of your other friends, and Mom!" I point out desperately. "Then I'll make sure I don't fail." He says. I groan and place my hand to my forehead. "You're not listening to me, Tyler. Klaus is ALWAYS one step ahead! You don't stand a chance in hell against him! You may think you've got it all figured out, but you're wrong! No matter how much thought you've put into it, you're gonna fail!" I say bluntly. "Well, at least I'm actually doing something about it." He says. "What are you..?" I trail off. "He killed us, Rae! Are you telling me you don't want revenge for that?" He asks. "Not if it means putting you and mom in danger!" I snap at him. Taking a moment to calm myself down, I sigh, and shake my head. "Just let it go, Tyler. Going after him isn't going to change what happened to us. We'll still be Hybrids." I say, trying to get him to see reason. He's silent at this. "Please, Tyler...don't do this...I'm telling you, it won't end well. The only thing this rebellion of yours will bring, is death...and it won't be Klaus'. Please, listen to me. You and mom...you're all I have left. I already lost Dad and Mason...don't make me lose you guys too.." I beg him, eyes becoming misty. He's silent for a long while. But soon, he lets out a sigh, and speaks. "I'm sorry Rae...but I can't 'just let it go'. I'm doing this." He says stubbornly, making my eyes widen immediately. "No, Tyle--!" Before I can finish, he ends the call.
