80- Birthday Party

After dressing myself, I dial Tyler's number, as I make my way into town. "Come on Tyler, come on.." I speak outloud, as I listen to the ringing. After a few moments, someone picks up the phone, but it isn't Tyler. "Rae..? That really you..?" Caroline's voice finds my ears. Worried, I speak. "Caroline..? Where's Tyler? Is he alright?!" I ask, stopping as I wait for her answer. "How is this possible..? Weren't you supposed to be..?" She trails off in confusion. Hearing this, I sigh. "Caroline, focus. Is Tyler alright?" I ask impatiently. "Oh, right...yeah, he's fine. Damon rescued both of us last night. Tyler's sleeping on my couch right now.." she says. Hearing this, I furrow my brows. "Damon..?" I ask confused. She sighs. "It's...a long story.." she says. "Yeah, okay...same here on my end, mind if we meet up..? No offense but, I'll believe he's okay when I see he's okay." I ask. "Uh...no, not at all, um...here, let me give you my address. Uh, Tyler could...also use some clothes while you're at it.." she says. Sighing in relief, I nod. "Alright, I'll grab him some on the way." I say, before listening to the address given.

Elijah's P.O.V.

2 days later..

As I walked through the surrounding trees, following Niklaus' trail, I notice a familiar figure laying on the ground a few feet away from me. Seeing Niklaus' unconscious body, I sigh, and walk towards him. As I do, he stirs, and looks up at the sky in wonder. I toss some clothing towards him. "You've been busy.." I say. Hearing my voice, he raises himself up. "That was amazing." He says, before standing, and beginning to dress himself. "How long has it been?" He asks. "Almost two days. The Full Moon came and went, you remained a wolf." I explain. "I can change at will then. That's good to know." He says with a smirk, fastening his trousers. "I remember every single kill." He says proudly. "Yes, I've been cleaning up your mess all the while." I say, less than pleased. "Just like old times, Brother." He says, before grabbing his shirt.

"Yes, well you've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain." I say, pushing his boots to his chest, before taking a few steps ahead of him. "That's right...now, what was it again?" He asks, earning a glare from me. "Oh, yeah, wait. I remember. That's it. You wish to be reunited with our family." He teases. "You gave me Your Word, Niklaus." I say. "Yes, and what kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me." He says, shooting his own glare towards me. Giving a quiet sigh, I retrieve his jacket, and wipe it off, before holding it out for him. "I could have. But I didn't." I correct. He smirks, as he puts his arms in the jacket. "Now no one can. Not even you." He says, before turning towards me. I lock my jaw. "Relax, Elijah. All is forgiven." He says quietly. "Where are they?" I ask, getting straight to the point. Smirking at this, he pats my shoulder. "You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough." He says, before walking away. Narrowing my eyes, I set my jaw, before following after him.

A few hours later..

As we walk inside his apartment, we're met with Katerina greeting us. "Look who decided to come for a visit." She says, taking ahold of a Black leather jacket. Remembering someone who had a similar leather jacket, part of me worries about who the visitor is. However, with a single tug, Katerina reveals it to be Stefan Salvatore. Seeing this, I let out a silent relieved sigh, before closing the door behind me. Let us hope she took my advice and fled.. "You just keep popping up, don't you?" Niklaus asks, with a smirk. "I need your help. My brother was bitten by a Werewolf." Stefan says, walking towards him. Hearing this, I look towards Stefan, giving him a questioning glance. Did She..? As if understanding, Stefan gives a slight shake of his head. Her brother then...it must've happened when Damon freed Tyler and Caroline.. "Sorry but, that is going to have to wait a tic. You see, I have an obligation to my brother, that requires my immediate attention." Niklaus replies, walking further into the apartment. Seeing him walk out of view, I look to Stefan once more, and speak, walking forward. "You understand how important family is or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me His Word that he would reunite me with my own." I say. "And so I shall.." Niklaus' voice says from behind me. Taken off-guard, I quickly look to him, only to howl in pain, as something pierces my heart. I can do nothing but grab onto Niklaus, and glare at him, as my body begins to fall. "Shh.." is the last thing he says to me, before it all fades to Black.
