Her parents decided to pick us up from the airport, holding huge banners saying ' Welcome home Rin and Jimin!'

They treat me like I'm their kid. At least I don't have to wonder if they approve of me or not.
They hugged us tightly, one by one, congratulating us.

'Oh I am so happy to see both of you!' Her mom squeezed both of us. She is one strong lady.

'Mom, you will choke us to death!' Rin tells her off, laughing as she's hugging her back

'I haven't see you in over a month. Get over it. You, too.' She tells me, hugging me now even tighter. I haven't even said a word about it.

'Don't worry. Hug away.' I laugh. Her parents are pretty damn cool.

'Come one. Let's go home. You can tell us everything on the way back.' Her dad smiles brightly at us

We told them all about the centre and the training and the tournament on the way there. Apparently, they watched a live stream online, as all the courts had a live stream, so they saw it all. And it seems like they watched it with my mom as well. She is coming home early from work as well so she could greet me back.

'Jimin, I gotta say, if I didn't know you, I would be scared shitless seeing you fight. I felt like I was watching a movie.' Her dad chuckles as he tells me, looking into the rear mirror at the back seat where I was with Rin

'Thank you. I tried my best.' I don't really know what to say to him to be honest, but Rin seemed hella proud. She was beaming at me, holding my hand firmly.

'He is pretty damn cool, isn't he. Badass.' She says, still grinning at me

'Look who's talking.' I tease her back. She was incredible. Especially that last fight of hers. That was a damn amazing knockout.

'You were both incredible. You should have heard Soo Ho and your mom. My God. She couldn't sit still. She was crying like a baby watching you fight. She was so happy.' Her mom says, smiling at me

'I'm just happy she is not afraid anymore. She worries about me too much.' I chuckle. She always did. Complete opposite of that thing that's supposed to be my father. He would injure me himself any opportunity he could get, while she never raised a voice at me. No wonder she left him.

'Of course she worries. She is your mother.'

'I was damn worried, too. You're practically family. It comes with the territory.' Her dad didn't seem like he was joking. He said it with a smile on his face

'Thank you, both, for being so accepting of me.' I would bow but we're in the car

'Oh, nonsense. You don't get a choice.' Her mom teases, making everyone chuckle a bit

'Well, kiddos, we're home.' Her dad announces, parking in front of her house

It feels like we haven't been here in ages. A month and a half seems so long. But it also somehow feels like we never left home. It's a weird feeling.

It was pretty dark when we decided to get inside the house, which was werid considering it's the middle of the day. Even the curtains are pulled over.

'WELCOME HOME!!!'

They scared the shit out of me. A loud popping noise from everywhere made me jump, so I pulled Rin, hiding her behind me. It took me a second to realize they threw a welcome home party.

They brought my mom, Youji, Suri and Jungkook. Even our coach Yong is here. You would think we won world's or something.

My mom ran straight to me, crying as I hugged her.
'Oh, Jimin dear. I am so proud. You are so strong!' She can barely talk as she's bawling
