Being the lightest category, I was the first one to fight as well.

The finals start today, and we will have all the women's fights today and men's fights tomorrow, as it's the last day of the Olympics.

He tired me out a bit last night, but I also got a ton of sleep because of it. So today, I'm at full strength.

I changed and ran to the stands for Jimin to do my belt. He also gave me a kiss that most definitely wasn't for public, but damn did I need it.

'You're fired up today.' Coach Darby smiled as he watched me warm up and stretch

'Got to be, coach. It's a big day.' I smile

'True, true. And how are you feeling?'

'I can't wait. I'm so excited. I wanna see what she'll be like.'

'You know, you have some issues.' He laughs. 'When I fought in the Olympics, I wasn't as nearly as calm as you are right now. I was scared down to my bones.'

'Jimin's been telling me that for years, so he beat you to it.' I sigh

'I think me mentioned it once or twice.' He teases. 'And right about now, I agree with him.'

'Thank you.' I do a dramatic curtesy as a joke, making him laugh

'Poor Jimin.'

That made me chuckle.

'Right. It's time to get out there. Let's move it.'

Arena today was different than any other day. There were Korean and German flags all over the stands. There were flags set up by the court as well, as my opponent was German.

We didn't have to wait for anything today. We are going straight to the court.

It was so packed that it took me a second to find Jimin, but all I had to do was search for a silver haired guy.

And there he was. Waving a Korean flag that had my name on it.

Where the hell did he even get that? And when?!

The announcement went off in English, then in Korean, and then in German.

'Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and everyone watching at home. Welcome to the Olympic games taekwondo finals. The first fight of the day goes to the lightweight women's category, which is -47 kg.'

'The fighter in the red corner that you are watching prepare on the court right now is Min Rin from Seoul, Korea. She is 24 years of age. She is in the Korean national team, and he has 2 wins at the World Championships under her belt, along with 3 Grand Slam golds and 4 Aisa Open Gold medals. These are only a few of her accomplishments that we just mentioned, and another one is coming with the end of the games, where she will go gome with either silver or gold.'

I waved around, as it seemed to be something people do, and the audience started clapping and cheering, and all the flags started flying left and right.

'On the blue side of the court, we have Sträizhün Alis. She is 27 years old and comes from Münich, Germany. She is a part of a German national team and has a lot of medals and wins under her, such as World Championships, European championships, and German Open. She also won a silver medal in the last years Grand Slam. And just like her opponent, she is adding an Olympic medal to her sparkly collection.'

Now all the German flags were up, and the cheering thundered through the arena.

This fight is going to be different.

They played both national anthems before we put on our equipment and got into the middle of the court.

The referee explained the rules and said what he was looking for. A clean fight. No running. No low hits. No leg grabbing.
