I was the first one to go up.
'Good luck, Rin.' Hinhyuk gave me a warm hug before I went off
'Wow. In front of your wife.' I joke making him snort in laughter
'Come here.' Jimin had me in the longest hug, holding me close. He hid his face on my neck, leaving the tiniest of kisses on it so no one would notice. He is the cutest person ever. 'Have fun, baby.'
'I will do. Promise.' I smile brightly, latching my pinky on his lightly, before going to the court
JIMIN POV
I watched her smile as she went into her fight. All the fear and anxiety she felt a few days ago seems to be completely gone.
As awful as I felt seeing her scared, a tiny part of me was happy because she was honest with me and she needed me. I was happy that I was able to do for her what she did for me all these years. She made me so much stronger than I was.
But my main focus right now is her and her fight. I have no doubt she will be amazing. She always has been.
I did notice Hinhyuk huffing and puffing silently next to me, shaking his legs a little.
'You alright?' I nudge him lightly
'I'm not sure what I am. I'm scared and anxious, but I'm also happy and excited. I feel like my wife when she was pregnant. A million things I'm feeling at the same time.' He sighs
I couldn't help but laugh at how he said it with the most serious face. 'I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. You are insane, Hinhyuk hyung.' I pat him on the back
'Thanks, Jimin, but unfortunately, I don't have the nerves of steel like you and your crazy woman.' He chuckles
'I wasn't always like this. Before I got into the team, I was scared of every single fight. It's all her, to be honest. She kept pushing me. And now, I'm almost as calm as her.' I smile
'Almost?'
'I'm not made of stone.' I laugh. 'I get nervous and scared. I get anxious. I know those feelings all too well, but not about fighting. Not anymore. I promised her I'd do my best, so there's nothing else to do.'
'You really love her, don't you?' I looked at him, and he had the most gentle smile on his face
'More than anything. I don't know what I'd do without her.'
'Probably have your voice.' He chuckles, mocking me because of all the screaming
'It'll come back.' I laugh. My throat is pretty hoarse, but she is even worse. We will sound like two Batmans by the end of this
'And there she goes.' He smiles
Her first round was about to start, and I felt as if it was my fight. I was so excited for her.
'WHOOO!' I cheered a bit too loud, grasping the attention of most of the people around. It's usually not loud around the court, but that's about to change.
Her first attack landed straight on her opponent's head, and she got 3 points right out of the gate.
Her next one was so damn fast I barely picked up on what she did. She spun so quickly I felt dizzy.
I'm more than aware of her strength, but it will always be a wonder nonetheless. Her strength is not normal for her size. And that is more than evident seeing her opponent grimace after every hit.
Another loud scream came out as she landed a neryo swipe on her head, almost taking off her helmet.
'THAT'S IT! THAT'S IT, BABY! WHOOO!'
