After I won that fight, the rest of the day was one big blur. I think I was just in too much of a shock to grasp everything that was going around me. I can barely remember doing the interview. I remember 3 questions, and the rest is a blank.
The only thing that I remember clearly is when I ran to Jimin. Before and after the interview.
When he holds me, I feel as if nothing can hurt me. He is my safe space.
So many people congratulated me and hugged me. Besides our team, it was all the surrounding competitors and a bunch of fans. It was unreal.
It's been such a huge mess today. My phone was blowing up since the fight. I have about 65 missed video calls from my family, but I just couldn't pick up. I'll do that after I take a shower.
We just came back to the centre, and Jimin had been carrying me to my room, refusing to let me walk on my own.
'I'll be back as soon as I shower. I promise.' He cupped my face, kissing me gently, then running into his room so he comes out faster
I've decided to do the same. I need to shower, then call my family.
By the time I came out, Jimin was already on my bed, waiting for me. He grinned and opened his arms wide, waiting for me to run to him. Not like he had to wait long. I gladly ran to him, and he wrapped himself around me like a koala bear, leaving kisses all over my face and neck, making me giggle.
'Weirdo.' He teased me, feeling me sniff him
'Hug me more and talk less.' I pout
'As my girl wishes.'
Maybe I shouldn't have wished for that. He squished the life out of me.
He released me a little after I've asked for air multiple times.
'Have you spoken to your family yet?'
'No. But I was gonna call them now. They called me about 60 times. Literally.' I sigh, knowing I'm about to hear a lot of screaming
'Let's do it together. I'll share your suffering.' He smiles
'Why do you think I've been waiting for you?' I nudge him a bit, joking
'Go on. Let's survive this.' He grins
I took a deep breath, looking at the little camera icon for the video call, before clicking on it. It barely rang twice before my mom picked up. I know it is supposed to be around 7 in the morning there. They were either awake the entire night or they have the alarms set up.
'MY BABIES!' She was bawling. Her camera was shaking because she couldn't hold the phone still, but even so, you could clearly see she's been crying her eyes out. My dad was yelling something, too, but I couldn't understand a word of it.
'IS THAT THEM?!' Soo Ho's voice followed by baby cry was coming from the background
We still haven't gotten in a single word with their yelling and crying
'Mom, dad, calm down, please.' I tried, but it's not working. Jimin was laughing silently next to me, watching me struggle to get them in order.
'RIN! JIMIN!' Soo Ho jumped into the frame, holding Binna in his arms. I feel like I've missed so much. She's grown a lot. She even has hair now. He was holding her tiny hand, waving at us.
'Oh my God, she is so big. Look at her.' Jimin melted right away after seeing her, waving back, calling her name in a cute tone
'My baby! You won! We are so proud of you!' My dad was bawling from the bottom of his soul, wiping his face as he was talking, so we barely understood what he said
