It's been a week, and we hoped it was all behind us. His dad must have left as we haven't seen him yet, which is the best possible thing to happen. Jimin finally went back to his old self, not having to look over his shoulder all the time.
Unfortunately, peace didn't seem to be an option.
I just came back home from the class. Coach Yong wasn't lying. He intensified the training by a lot. Jimin and I are kind of used to it, but it's still exhausting. I just need to shower, and then I'm going over to Jimin's.
I heard the knocking on the door, then a bunch of voices downstairs, quite loud. I barely just got out of the shower. He shouldn't be here just yet.
I came downstairs to see what's going on, to see Jimin holding a bag over his shoulder, looking at the ground.
'Jimin? What are you-' I didn't even finish my question when he looked up at me
'Oh. My. God.' He had a huge bruise on the side of his jaw and a cut on his now swollen lip.
My mom and dad were looking at him on horror, trying to figure out what happened.
'I'm sorry to ask this of you, but would it be okay for me to stay here for a few days? I have nowhere else to go.' Jimin barely speaks as he asks my parents
'Oh, God, Jimin.' I already knew what happened. I ran to him with tears going down by face. I just wanted to hug him.
'Of course, you can stay. You don't even need to ask.' My mom tells him, still looking at him in shock
'Jimin, son, what happened to you?' My dad asks, looking extremely worried. They treat him like their own son, so I understand why they're so scared and worried.
'Dad.' I just shake my head at him, telling him not to ask any questions
'Thank you.' Jimin barely bows at them, looking at the ground. He must feel ashamed.
'Come with me. We need to clean that up.' I sniffle as I take his hand and bring him upstairs with me.
He was sitting on the bed mindlessly, looking like there's not a single thought behind those eyes. He didn't even wince when I put the alcohol on his wound. It's like he didn't feel pain.
'He waited for me at home.' He finally spoke, still looking at the ground
'He pushed his way in. Not like my mom could stop him. I stood between them just in case he tried something, but I was too frozen to protect myself when he punched me. Which is a lot better than her getting hurt. My mom told me to hide wherever for a few days as he is leaving in a few.'
'Why is he even here?! What the hell does he want?' I am so pissed off
'He can't accept the fact that I want nothing to do with him. He wants me to move back. I would rather gouge my eyes out.' He spits out
'You're going to be okay. Stay here as long as you need to. We will figure it out. Together.' I was going to kiss his hand, but only then I noticed his knuckles are bleeding, too.
'I punched a wall out of frustration.' He just explains shortly
'Don't hurt yourself because of him.'
'The wall had it worse.' He gives me the weakest smile ever
I cleaned and wrapped his hand as well. It must sting.
'Do you want to go and shower? I can make you something to eat in the meantime.' I ask
'In not hungry, but thank you.' He smiles weakly. 'But I do need to shower.' He walked into the bathroom, completely silent
