Round went off, and so did the breath I was holding in.
Jimin's stance alone looks like he's ready to put him to sleep if he comes closer to him. The other guy has a more springy stance, hopping around more on the tip of his feet. But Jimin is more sturdy. And fast.
He moved so quickly, running into that guy with such a powerful spin-kick that the guy stumbled back a little. The kick itself was so strong that you could clearly hear the power he put behind it. That poor guy definitely lost the air in his lungs.
'I am so fucking happy I never had to fight him in the tournament. Jesus. Fucking. Christ.' Wonhu shuddered
'He is so frigging cool, isn't he?!?!' I squealed with the biggest grin, smacking him excitedly
'Why is he in a fight, but we're getting beaten up?' Wonhu jokes
'Sorry, sorry. I can't help it!' I haven't been this excited about my fight
I watched his opponent run to him, going for Jimin's head. Jimin, being as flexible as he is, leaned back so much that there's was no way he'd reach him, then scored a point under his leg.
'THAT'S IT BABY! WHOOOO!'
'OH MY FUCKING GOD!' While the three of them were yelling and cheering, I was screeching at the top of my lungs, crying
He did his insane 720, and landed it at the back of his head, taking off the helmet. The guy fell but got back up right away.
Those 720 spins are crazy tricky. You can't cut in because you will get knocked out. You also can't back away because you don't know how far he will reach, and you may end up helping him. There's not much you can do but run if you're fast enough.
'THAT'S MY MAN! THAT'S MY BOYFRIEND!' I was screeching and pointing at him to everyone around us. Surrounding athletes were looking at me, some of them laughing at me, and some of them finding me insane, but I couldn't care less.
Korean flags were flying left and right around the arena, covering all the Spanish flags for a moment.
The guy shook his head a bit as he came back to the middle of the court, and him and Jimin greeted again before the fight continued.
The guy, surprisingly, wasn't afraid of him. Or at least he didn't look scared. He ran in, attacking Jimin with ferocity. It looked like one of those attacks I usually do. Like my little manic episode. Jimin is more than used to them. He hates them, though.
He got the guy in the clinch and pulled a bubblegum kick on him, but fell as the guy pushed him. One point down for falling, but he got 2 for the hit.
The round ended there, and Jimin was leading 11-6. The other guy really is a tough one. He is no joke. Jimin was breathing hard as well, his shield moving up and down as he was taking deep breaths. He undid the helmet as he sat down, revealing the sweat that was dripping down his throat.
Coach was telling him something, crouching in front of him, and he kept nodding in confirmation, putting down his water bottle.
'Do you think he'll-'
'Yes! He'll win!' I squealed, cutting of Sool mid question
'I was gonna ask if you think he'll do another crazy spin.' He laughs. 'I'm more than aware you believe in him. At this point, none of us doubt him.'
'You better not.' I threaten him, pointing my finger at him
'You know, you're lucky I'm afraid of you just as much as I'm afraid of him, so I'm not gonna tease.' He points back
