Love At First Kick

We have a meeting in 10 minutes in the gym to meet everyone from the group and the coaches.
We already got acquainted with the rest of the group, so it's just the coach or coaches. We don't know how this works.

Currently, we are getting ready to go to the gym. I heard a knock on the door, and I knew it was Jimin.

'Hello, gorgeous. Ready?' He smiled beautifully at me, leaning onto a wall next to my door as he was waiting for me

'Yes, I'm all ready.' I smile

'I'm ready, too!' Imanu jumped in between us, startling us. But then she sprinted down the hall and out of our sight.

We didn't even get a chance to react to it when we heard another door open and close. It was Jimin's room. Wonhu, whom I met earlier, was just coming out.

'Is she gone?' He whispers to us, asking about Imanu

'Yes.' Jimin laughs quietly, nodding at him

He just took a deep breath, then nodded to himself, and then walked away

The other two guys I met, Sool and Hinhyuk, just walked out as well. Hinhyuk smiled sheepishly as he walked past, while Sool stared us down without saying a word. He wasn't the most talkative either.

'Such a weird crew we've got this time.' I mumble

'I couldn't agree more.' He sighs. 'Let's just get this over with.'

We got to the gym, and all 3 of the guys were sitting all on their own, and Imanu was just going from one to another, asking them something.

We sat down together, waiting for whoever it was that was coming, and Imanu joined us. She wouldn't stop talking, but thankfully, only a few minutes later, we got greeted by someone.

'Welcome, everyone. Please, stand up.' There were 2 people walking in. 2 men in their late thirties, I'd say. One is Korean and the other one is English. Or something. But not Korean.

Everyone got up and bowed to them.

'Welcome, again. I am Ro Joon Kim. I will be your strategy coach.' The first man introduces himself

'And I am Eric Darby. I will be your indurance and strenght coach.' He introduced himself in perfect Korean.

Thank God. I have no idea how I'd do anything if they spoke in English.

'The way this is going to work is like this. You will have most of your training together as a group, but you will also receive personal training by each of us.' Kim starts off

'You will have personalised classes where we will do what we can to improve on your shortcomings. If there are any.' Darby adds

'I hope everyone here realizes the weight of these games. So, it goes without saying that there will be zero tolerance for laziness and slacking off.'

'You will have up to 7 hours a day of training, Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are rest days. This will be like a full-time job.'

'Aside from that, you are free to roam. You can leave the facility. You can go and explore the city. You can do absolutely anything you want. Only on the weekends. And you must come back. No staying out overnight. And absolutely no bringing anyone from the outside in. That is about it.'

'Does anyone have any questions?'

Everyone looked at each other, but no one said a thing.

'I'll take that as a no. We will see you here tomorrow at 11 AM. If you need us, we are in rooms 5 and 7. Thank you.'
