Long 23 hours back, but we're finally home.
I swear it hurts more to sit on the plane for 18 hours than it does to fight the entire day. All the muscles and bones just die off.
'They will never change.' Jimin laughed as we walked into the arrival area of the airport and saw my parents basically jumping
'MY KIDS ARE BACK!' My dad ran straight to us, hugging both of us as if he hadn't seen us in years, not 3 months. The bigger the tournament, the longer we spend in the training centre.
'Hiya, dad.' I laugh, hugging him back
'I'm so happy to see you Mr.Min.' Jimin smiles at him
'Your hair got longer, son. And darker.' My dad teases Jimin
'Unfortunately, they don't offer hairstyling in the taekwondo centre. I thought it was weird, too.' Jimin snickers. His hair did get longer. He even had to tie up little bits at times because it kept getting into his eyes. And his roots are a lot darker. How come no matter the hair colour, he looks divine?!
'Come here, you two!' My mom was bawling
'Happy to see you, too Mr.Min.' Jimin chuckles as he gives her a tight hug
'When will you start calling us by our first names? It's been over two years.' My dad scolds him
'I'm afraid you'll have to learn to live with it.' He grins at my dad
'Let's get you two home. You need to rest. It must have been so tiring.' My mom pulled us along with her
We told them everything in the car about the training and the tournament and what comes next. My mom started crying again once she found out we had to leave again in 2 months to train for World's. You'd think she'd get used to it by now.
Since we made the team, we spent more time in the centre than at home. We moved into an apartment almost a year and a half ago, and we spent maybe 4 months there all together. A bit insane, but we love it.
'Do you need some help with the bags?' My dad offers
'Oh, no, no. Thank you. I got these. We will come over a bit later after we shower and unpack.' Jimin tells my parents
'You better, or I'm coming to drag you out.' My dad threatens back, making Jimin laugh
'Ahh. Home sweet- Shit!' Jimin cursed a he tripped and caught himself on the wall before he fell over. I was going to laugh at him, but seeing what he tripped over was a bit of a shock.
There was so much mail that we got within these 3 months that we weren't home, that it created a little mountain. There were a few smaller packets and parcels that they managed to push through the letterbox. No wonder he tripped.
'Now that's gonna take a while to go through.' I shake my head
'It waited three months. It can wait another day.' Jimin pushed it all with his foot in the corner, so it's out of the way, and decided to ignore it. You know what? He's absolutely right. Fuck the mail.
He threw himself on the bed as soon as he walked into our bedroom.
'I missed the bed so much.' He exhales loudly, closing his eyes'And I missed the shower, so that's where I'm headed. I'll leave the two of you alone.' I tease
'Now that you mention it, I think you need help. Just in case you forgot how the shower works.' He giggles and runs over to me, pushing me gently towards the bathroom
'Oh, yes. I definitely don't know how to use it. You better save me.' I play along, giggling at his playfulness
'Nice help.' I smile into the kiss as he didn't wait a second before pushing me against the marble wall, devouring my lips
