RIN POV

'Jimin-' I wanted to stop him from leaving. I wanted to explain to him again that he did nothing wrong, but he just cut me off before I got a word in

'I'll wait for you.'

The way he said it sounded like he was half mad, half sad, and definitely disappointed with himself.

'Guys, do you mind if we wrap this up?' I ask them, still looking after Jimin

'We're done anyway.' Youji says, and everyone silently leaves to go and get changed

By the time I changed, he was already waiting for me by the door with his bag over his shoulder. Just like always. Minus the big grin he's usually wearing.

'Hey, handsome.' I smile, but he just gives me back a weak smile

'Hey.' I take his hand gently, looking up at him. 'Are you going to be okay?"'

'Are you?' He asks right back

'Let's go home. We can talk there.' I smile a bit, and he just nods

I've never seen him so silent and absent-minded. He is clearly having a head full of thoughts, fighting with himself.

He didn't say a single word until we got to his place, and we both showered.

'Jimin, can we talk now?'

He just nodded lightly.

'Can you tell me what's going on?' I ask him in a quiet voice, holding his hand softly

'I don't even know why you're asking when you know better than me.' He scoffs a bit

'Look at me.' I shake his hand a bit, getting him to stop staring at his hand. 'You've done nothing wrong. We both know I need to do this. I won't get back to that condition if I take it easy.'

'I know, trust me. I just... I don't have the heart to do this if I'm being honest. I hate seeing your suffer, and by my hand nonetheless.'

'You do realize that I've been through this countless times? Even you got sick from the training last month. It's not that uncommon.' I try to explain

'I know. I'm aware. And I'm also aware that you have to do this. I know how much work you've put in to get to where you are. But I felt like one of those guys that I used to beat up for hurting you. Made me feel disgusted.' He shudders

'Except they beat me up to show off. You are conditioning me so we can go back to fighting the way we used to.' I smile a bit. 'Can you do that for me?'

He was just staring at me, contemplating it.

'Baby, please.' I squeeze his hand. 'I want to fight you like I've been fighting you last few months. But I can't do that without your help. You're the only one who can do this for me.' I plead

'You know I'll do anything for you.' He finally smiles

I smiled at him, climbing on his lap, hugging him tightly.
'Thank you.'

'Please, don't thank me for this. It's not like I'm happy about it.' He mumbles, hiding his face into my neck

'I am happy. As messed up as it is, I am happy. Besides, it will only be a few days until I'm used to it, and then I'll be okay.' I hug him tighter

'I always knew you were crazy.' He jokes

'Crazy about you, absolutely.' I giggle, pulling myself a bit away to look at his face. 'I love you.'

'I love you, too. More than anything.' He caresses my face gently, pulling me in for a soft kiss

His lips slowly parted over mine, making my heart race so bad it might jump out. It's been over a year, but no matter how many times he kisses me, I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack.
