Simon and Luke were sitting in the Jade Wolf experimenting with Simon as Chinese food sat in front of him "I can't eat this." He says and Luke raises an eyebrow "You are in no position to be picky." He tells the new vamp who shakes his head "No, I... I can't eat this. I can't eat at all. I can't just go to a restaurant, order food, and just sit there and stare at it." Simon explains and Luke sighs and looks at Simon "You need to learn how to adapt to what's in front of you. On the plate, around the meat, what do you see?" Luke asks him and Simon looks at the plate again noticing something "Blood. What should I do, lick it up? That would be suave." He says sarcastically and Luke lifts and tilts the plate so that the blood pours into a glass and sets it in front of Simon. "See? You're all set." He says and Simon raises an eyebrow "And that move is supposed to help me look normal?" He questions the alpha who shrugs "Yeah, maybe a wine glass would be better." Luke says and Simon sighs but nods his head "Probably." He says and then suddenly the door opens and Clary, Michael, and Jace, come in with Jace holding an unconscious Eva in his arms, black veins spread up her neck and onto her cheek "We need help!" Clary shouts out and Simon and Luke jump up to them and rush to them. "Clary, what happened?" Simon says before suddenly stopping in his tracks as he notices a ray of sunshine shining through and can't come closer to Clary. "We thought we found Valentine, but he was already gone." She says and Jace sets Eva down on a table making her whine in pain whilst unconscious "Michael Wayland?" Luke says shocked and Clary looked at him "Valentine took my mother with him, but we found Jace's father." Clary explained and Simon was confused "What? I thought Valentine killed Jace's father. And why is Eva half alive." That comment earned him a glare from Jace "He tried. Hello, Lucian." Michael said and Luke shook his head "This can't be. I thought I'd never see you again." Luke mutters and Michael laughs "I never thought I'd see anyone again." He said to the wolf who looked down at the young shadow hunter that everyone had come to care for "What happened?" He asked whilst examining the young girl and he saw the barely healed wound on her shoulder that had spread "Demon got her. She can't fight the poison. She is too young for runes so the runes are too weak and she needs blood, but we can't go back to the Institute. Simon." Jace says looking over at the vampire and everyone else turned to him as well "Simon, there's gotta be some kind of blood at Hotel DuMort. Please, could you call Raphael and can you ask him? If you tell him it's for Eva he'll be more likely to help." Michael looks at the young girl who is regaining consciousness "Can you get some water?" He says to Luke who nods "I'll get some." He says as he moves to go and get some, he hears some of the wolves coming back and he knows this won't go down well "Calling won't work. We have to do this in person. My van is in the garage. You drive, I'll hide under a blanket to stay out of the sun, and there's underground parking in the hotel." Simon tells Clary and Jace, the blonde holding his sisters hand as he watches her scared, Simon can see the fear in his eyes, he does feel bad for him "Okay. Jace are you coming?" She asks and he shakes his head "I'm not leaving her." He says as he puts Eva's bag beside him and takes out Bob laying it beside her as she was whimpering in pain "She's weaker. You gotta hurry." Michael tells them and Simon looks at Clary in alarm as she was wasting time "Clary, let's go. Come on." Simon says worried.

Simon and Clary exit as the wolves enter the front door there was only five of them but Gretel was one of them, there was another girl with an Afro and three males with them "what's going- Eva? Oh my god! Eva!" Gretel cut herself off when she saw the little shadow hunter that she cared for and the other wolves come over as well "Maia this is the kid I was telling you about." Gretel said looking down at Eva and the other girl nodded her head "what happened to her Wayland?" Gretel growled at him and Luke stepped forward noticing Gretels eyes light up "hey calm down." He ordered flashing his eyes and Gretel bowed her head and took a step back "she was attacked in another dimension by a demon, she's too young for the runes to work so she needs a blood transfusion which Clary and Simon are going to get right now." Jace says and Gretel nods and looks at the young girl again before Maia steps in to distract her "come on let's go get something to eat." She says moving Gretel away and the male wolves with her stopped for a second to have a look at the young Lightwood before they followed the girls to the back of the Jade wolf.
