The Wedding To Remember

Lydia was looking at Eva for an answer "Me?... Are you sure Alec wants me to be his flower girl?" Eva asks Lydia who gives her a smile and nods her head "Of course he does Eva, your brother adores you, he loves you so much and he is absolutely hating himself every second that he believes you hate him." Lydia tells her that and it makes her feel even more upset because she feels that she has made Alec feel really upset "So.. would you do the honour of being our flower girl?" She asks Eva who looks down at Bob before looking back at Lydia and she nods her head at her, "I would really like to be your flower girl Lydia." She says smiling and Lydia pulls her into another hug before picking her up and putting her on her hip "Well let's go and tell your brother that shall we?" She says and Eva gulps "What if Alec is upset with the mean things I said to him?" She asked nervously and Lydia shakes her head "I promise you he won't be." She tells Eva who nods her head. Lydia carried Eva through the institute receiving many smiles from fellow shadow hunters who were glad to see the toddler happy and getting along with the head of the institute. Lydia could hear Alec talking to someone and a few seconds later two of the shadow hunters from the institute left his room and Lydia approached the door and put Eva down before whispering to her "Wait here until I call you inside, okay?" she says to Eva who nods and stands by the door holding onto Bob, Lydia knocks on the door and Alec turns to her "Lydia... can I help you with something?" He asks her and she shakes her head "I know you were going over details for the wedding and how you spoke about wanting a flower girl... so i found someone to be our flower girl." She said and Alec shook his head "Lydia you know I wanted my sister to do that but seeing as she hates me... fine who did you get?" He asks her and she smiles and turns towards the door "You can come in now sweetheart." She calls out and Eva takes a deep breath and walks into the room and Alec looks shocked as he watches his little sister walk into the room "Our flower girl is Eva." Lydia says with a smile and Alec sends her a smile before he goes down onto his knee to look at Eva who looks nervous "What's wrong princess?" He asks and Eva can't hold her tears in especially after he called her that, so she runs up to Alec and hugs him tightly tears running from her eyes as she cried into her brother's shoulder, "I'm so sorry Alec! I have been so mean and horrible to you. I'm a bad sister!" She cried and he rubbed her back holding her close whilst shushing her and kissing her head "No baby no, you were right about everything you said, i'm just so sorry that it upset you so much, I love you Eva okay? You mean absolutely everything to me, when I thought that you never wanted to see me again, I felt that someone had ripped my heart out. I raised you Eva and I was supposed to protect you and love you and I didn't do that and I am so so sorry, from now on I promise to look after you and make sure your safe okay?" he asked pulling back from Eva to look her in the eye and brush her hair out of her face, she nodded her head looking at her brother and he kissed her forehead "I love you princess." He said to her and she hugged him again putting her arms around his neck hugging him with Bob dangling from her hand "I love you too Alec." She said and Lydia watched the both of them with a smile on her face "Well Eva if your going to be a Flower girl you need a nice dress, we have one here for you that Alec picked out a few days ago because he always wanted the flower girl to be you, do you want to come and try it on?" Lydia asked her with a smile and she nodded her head with a smile "Yes please." Eva said and Lydia held her hand out for her so Eva quickly turned to her big brother hugging him tightly before kissing his cheek making him laugh as she made a 'muah' sound before he kissed her head and let her go so she could go with Lydia to try on her dress for the wedding.

Lydia was in awe watching Eva in her little pink dress with Rose by her shoulder and smaller flowers around her waist on a ribbon, Eva loved how her dress puffed out as she turned and she liked the flowers on her dress as it reminded her of Meliorn. She couldn't believe that Alec had been the one to pick this dress, he never even wore colourful clothes yet this dress was beautiful! Eva was just happy that she had made up with Alec because she had really missed her big brother, "Eva you look beautiful, you really look like a little princess in that dress." Lydia said looking down at her and she smiled up at Lydia "Thank you!" She said smiling and Lydia smoothed her hand over Eva's hair "I have to go and get into my dress now and get ready so i'll see you at the wedding." Lydia told Eva who nodded her head "Okay Lydia bye bye." She said as she spun around again in her dress giggling as she watched it fan out, she turned to Bob who was sitting up against the side of a cabinet and she picked him up "What do you think Bob?" She asked him "You really do look like a princess Eva." Bob told her and it made her smile "I feel like a princess, this dress is amazing. We should go and show Alec before the wedding!" She says "That sounds like a good idea Eva." Bob told her and she slipped on the pink shoes that Lydia had told her were to go with the dress, they had a small pink rose sitting on the end of them and after she had put them on she ran through the institute then she saw Alec in the wedding tent as people were beginning to enter and sit down in the seats on either side of the aisle.
