Jace and Clary are standing outside the cell, where Valentine cannot hear them and Clary is still getting over what Jace told her in the cell "Clary." He says to gain her attention as Eva holds bobs hand and they walk towards the elevator wanting to go and find Alec "How long have you known?" Clary asks as she looks at Jace "Just a few days." He says and Clary nods "Why didn't you say something?" She asks and Jace sighs, "You have a good thing going on with Simon. You're happy. I wouldn't want to ruin that." He says and Eva looks at Bob and mouthed to him 'Awkward' and the little elephant nodded his head at her and they looked back at the duo "Why would that ruin anything? Jace, what else are you hiding from me?" Clary asked and Eva rolled her eyes because with a brain that worked could see that Jace was still attracted to Clary, it seemed that she was the only one that couldn't see that "Nothing. I swear." Jace says very unconvincingly and Eva almost laughs but keeps her composure "Look, we need to be able to trust each other. And that means being completely honest, even if the truth hurts." Clary says and Jace nods his head as Bob sticks his little arms up at Eva indicating for her to pick him up "I get it." Jace says as Eva picks up Bob whilst she waited for the elevator to come down "Emotions serve a purpose. You don't go through what you just went through, witnessing all that death, and not feel something, Jace. It's not good for you. Just feel something... whether you think it clouds your judgment or not." Clary says to him as she joins Eva by going to the elevator and leaving the basement but before the doors close Eva waves to her brother "Bye bye Jace! Love you!" She shouts and sees him smile as the doors close "Love you too!" She hears and it causes her to smile "My siblings are awesome." Eva says quietly as the elevator lifts and Clary and Bob smile "yeah they're pretty cool." Bob says and Eva nods and when the doors open Eva runs out with Bob in her arms as she heads off to find Alec, who she was still trying to keep an eye on after Magnus's party, she find Alec in the courtyard alongside Magnus and she runs over to the warlock "Sparkles!" She says and he smiles and turns around as he sees her coming "My dear!" He says scooping her up and she laughs as her and Bob are lifted into the air, "What are you doing here?" She asks happily and Magnus smiles at how happy she is to see him "Well im here to find your sister." Magnus tells her and she nods her head at him as Clary walks out and sees that Alec and Magnus have prepared a pentagram to summon Azazel. "Is the courtyard glamoured?" Alec asks and Magnus nods his head "No one can see us." He says and Alec sighs nervously "I don't know, it still seems like a risk." He says looking at his little sister who was quite content in his boyfriends arms "We have no choice. It was the only space big enough." Magnus explains and Jace enters with Valentine in chains, and with a mask over his nose and mouth to stop him from talking "Security cameras in the cell are down. We got a half hour until the inquisitor's done with her meeting." Jace says and Alec asks him quietly as Magnus puts Eva down "Is Clary ready?" Alec asked quietly and Jace nodded "Let's do this." He says and Magnus nods "Eva I would like for you to go and sit over there please." Magnus says pointing to a little stone bench in the courtyard "I call upon the power of the pentagram. Azazel, I summon thee." Magnus says once Eva and Bob are sitting on the bench "I wonder what he's doing?" Eva asks and Bob nods "I think he's summoning someone." Bob says and Magnus used his magic to light up the pentagram "From within our realm, into this mystical confinement, I summon thee. You seek the Mortal Cup. We seek the return of our friend. For this exchange, I summon thee." Magnus says and suddenly in the middle of the pentagram, Azazel appears "Well... if it isn't Magnus Bane. Brave move." Azazel says and before Azazel can approach Magnus, Magnus holds him back with his magic and looks at the greater demon who is looking around at everyone who is there "Return Isabelle Lightwood, and we'll hand over Valentine. He can lead you to the Mortal Cup." Magnus says and Azazel turns to Valentine "Valentine Morgenstern. The man who dares to dream big. It is a tempting offer, but I don't have your friend Isabelle, but I see that you do have a chosen one... how fascinating." Azazel says and Alec shakes his head "He's lying." He says and Jace looks at Azazel who is smirking in Eva's direction and the little girl feels nervous "I'm not so sure." Jace says and Magnus looks at the parabatai duo "No time for a debate. The barrier's weakening." He tells them and Magnus blasts a fireball into Azazel to try and weaken him more "We can still find Isabelle. We can't let Azazel get away." Magnus says as he begins struggling to contain the greater demon "Clary, now!" Jace yells and Clary draws the sunlight rune, but it doesn't work. Sunlight doesn't shoot out of her hand like it did before at the citadel and Eva gets nervous "It's– It's not working!" Clary yells and Jace looks at her "What are you talking about?" He says and Clary looks at him "Nothing's happening." She says and Bob gasps "Oh No!" He says as he sees Azazel getting angry "You thought you could contain me?" He says and he throws out a blast of demonic energy, throwing Clary, Magnus, Alec, Jace and Valentine all to the floor. Everyone screams when their heads feel like they're exploding including Bob but it doesn't seem to affect Eva as she gets up "Jace!" Clary cries out as Alec also cries out "Magnus, stop him!" He begs and Eva approaches Azazel absolutely terrified "Mr Demon Man?" She asks as Azazel turns to her shocked "Could you please stop hurting my family... do whatever you want to him cause he deserves it but please let my family go." She says and Azazel is utterly confused "How are you alright, you should be like them! Of Course... you are a chosen one..." He says before Azazel walks over to Magnus and takes his chin. "Stupid warlock." He says and Eva feels the power she had before and she feels it flow throughout her body as Azazel then kneels down by Valentine "Now, a present for you, my dear Valentine." He says and Eva looks around at her family as Azazel puts his hands on Valentine's head and his screams are muffled by the mask "Jace!" Clary calls out and Eva opens her eyes for them to be the bright white eyes again and she opens her hand and a blade in conjured up in it but before she could kill Azazel he turns to see what she is doing and he transforms into a dozen flying creatures and she sees that Jace has also managed to stand up as if the sound never affected him anymore and a wave of light leaves Eva's hands and everyone on the floor slowly gets up "How did you do that?" Alec asks and Jace shrugs "I have no idea. It doesn't matter. He got away." Jace says as he helps Clary up and Alec goes to Magnus with Eva running to pick up Bob "Are you okay Bob?" She says and the Elephant flattens his big ears against his head "Yeah but my ears are sore." He says and Eva nods and picks him up, hugging him close and Eva notices that Valentine is acting funny as he is being pulled away, he looks scared and he seems to be mumbling "Help me. Help me!" Eva hears him mumbling and she wonders whats going on...
