Who Is In Control?

Eva's Portal opens in Jonathan's cell and Eva saw a Seelie with her sword pointed towards Jonathan and with a twist of Eva's wrist and a loud cracking sound the Seelie falls to the ground, dead and Eva turns her black eyes towards Jonathan and gives him a smile "I won't let anyone hurt you... big brother." She says with a small laugh and Jonathan gives her a shocked look "You came for me." He says and Eva's expression flickers for a second because her smile is back "of course I did... I saw you in my head... I didn't know that it was me allowing your influence to take over my brain but I'm so much happier now... anyway let's not drag this out any longer shall we?" she twists her wrist again and Jonathan's restraints and jacket are torn apart and he moves his muscles getting used to being able to move them again before he kneels in front of Eva "should we go now... princess?" He asks her and she giggles and hugs him "let's go." She says making another portal and taking them both back to Jonathan's apartment.

It's two days later and Eva is now sitting by the window as Jonathan is pouring himself a champagne and he had a glass of apple juice as well "ooh... Fancy." Eva says with a smirk and giggle as Jonathan hands her the glass "Well, it is a special occasion. You saved me, Eva... I knew you would." He says and Eva seems to hesitate for a second before she smiles at him again "You would do the same for me." She says and Jonathan nods his head "I would die for you." He says as Eva stands up on her chair "I've spent so long dreaming of the day that we'd finally be together. To us." He says and Eva raises her glass to clink Jonathan's as she says "To us." and they clink their glasses and take a sip. Eva has a look on her face and Jonathan notices it "Something's troubling you, I can see it." He says and Eva sighs and puts her apple juice down "Izzy and the others are working on a stronger serum to break us apart." She tells him and he nods his head "Ah... Of course they are." He says before rolling his eyes and Eva slides down off of the chair "That doesn't concern you?" She asks walking up to Jonathan's leg and looking up at him as he shakes his head "No one can hurt us if we get the Morning Star Sword first. And once we have that sword, the entire world will be terrified of us. And they will finally leave us in peace." Jonathan explains but Eva remembers hearing something about the Seelie Queen when she was back in the institute "But didn't the Seelie Queen say that she will only give you the Morning Star sword if you bring her Lilith's head?" Eva asks and Jonathan picks her up and it's a sigh and carries her towards the door "Well, those were her terms. You up for a trip to Prague... little sister?" He asks her and she grins at him "Can't wait." She says but before the duo can do anything a fire message suddenly flies into Eva's hand and she begins to read it and then scoffs "From your Shadowhunter friends?" Jonathan asks and she nods her head looking slightly conflicted "It's from Jace. He wants to meet. He says his love for me matters more than his loyalty to the New York Institute, that he is still my big brother and that he loves me more than anything he says and to prove it, he says that he'll help us get back our family sword." Eva tells Jonathan as she hands him the fire message for him to skim read and he instantly shakes his head "No. It's a trap. He just wants to come between us like he did before, I am the only brother you need! You don't need Jace!" Jonathan says jealousy rolling off of him "He no longer has that power. I'm with you because I want to be with you." Eva says her eyes flashing black to further convince Jonathan and he sighs angrily and nods his head "Well, then why do you even need him?" Jonathan says and Eva laughs at his huffy-ness and she puts her hands on the side of his face squashing his cheeks together "Jonathan... you're my brother, and I never want us to be apart. But... Jace is my brother too, so is Alec and Izzy is my sister, I can't live without them, either." Eva says and Jonathan sighs again before Eva moves her hands off of his cheeks and he looks down at her "He wants me dead, Eva... they all do and you know that." Jonathan says as he turns to look out the window "Not if I tell him that I can't live without you... which I mean technically I can't but to be with me, Jace would accept that. He loves me." Eva says and Jonathan huffs putting Eva down before he paces angrily "I love you more than anything in this world! Isn't that enough?" He asks the five year old and she crosses her arms "I want to hear Jace out. If you love me... come with me." She tells him and Jonathan sighs nodding his head as the young girl smirked and moved to put her jacket on, the warlock costume she had on looked a lot more real when her eyes were flashing black and white, Jonathan stopped her to tell her what his plan was before
they left to go and get Jace and the two get ready and then Eva opens a portal for the two of them.
