Special Signs, Zeke Russo and Alec's Big Night

Eva wakes up the next day feeling a little frustrated because she still felt tired but she had a daily routine that she had to follow so she huffed and threw the covers bag with an irritated noise and Bob gave her a glance knowing that this was going to be a difficult day, Eva went to the bath room and washed her face before she came back into the room with her hood up and her arms crossed and Bob slid off of her bed and walked over to her "so should we go find Alec?" Bob asks and Eva shrugs and hums and Bob sighs and tries to jump for the door handle but realises he's a little too short and so he looks at Eva who sighs and grabs the door handle opening the door and her and Bob walk over towards Alec's room and when they open the door they see Magnus is sitting in bed, partly under the covers and he's looking at a magazine with houses on the front whilst Alec is getting dressed "Three bedrooms, an absolute must... hello my dear... Spacious closets, required. Alexander?" Magnus says acknowledging Eva as she walks in and Eva just moves around to see Magnus and she raises her arms to be held and he smiled and picked her up letting her curl into his lap and rest her head on his chest as he rubbed her back "Uh, yeah. Yeah, that sounds great." Alec says distractedly and Magnus looks at him worried "Is something wrong?" Magnus asks him and he quickly turns to face Magnus shaking his head "What? No! No. On the contrary. Everything is perfect now that you're back to your old self." Alec says and Magnus lifts Bob up beside Eva and she grabs the elephant hugging him tightly as she rests against Magnus "Well, let's not get carried away." Magnus says petting Eva's head before leaning down to whisper in her ear "are you alright my dear?" He whispered and she whined and dug her head deeper into his chest "I...I just mean now that you're healthy. So, I was thinking we could have dinner tonight, on the balcony, view of the city. The head chef can prepare something special." Alec says finishing off adjusting his clothes "Oh, how romantic. May I ask what the occasion is?" Magnus asks and Alec freezes for a moment before he turns to look at Magnus with a smile "There's no occasion. I just thought it would be nice. What? I can't do something nice with my boyfriend?" Alec says and then instantly looks worried at Eva "Oh. I am one lucky man." Magnus says and Alec walks over to him "Not as lucky as I am." Alec says sweetly before he kisses Magnus on the cheek and then he looks down at Eva trying to see her face "princess? What's wrong? Are you alright baby?" He asks her quietly and she whines and flips around in Magnus's arms for a few moments as the warlock tries to hold her "okay so she's tired and frustrated." Alec mutters quietly and Eva keeps fidgeting and Magnus holds her close shushing her "it's okay Eva, it's okay... we get it you're tired." Magnus says and she settles down in his arms "I'm tired!" She whines and Magnus kisses her forehead "well how about we wake you up a bit? We have to go get breakfast, you go with Alexander because I need to get ready okay?" He says and Eva lets out a deep groaning sound as he passes her to Alec, though she just reaches back for Magnus "oh wow Eva I'm really feeling the love here." Alec says sarcastically and Eva just grumbles leaning back "your cold... sparkles is warm and cosy." She says and Alec rolls his eyes with a laugh as Eva readjusts her hold on Bob "Okay. I'll see you... tonight at 8 o'clock!" Alec tells Magnus as he goes to leave with Eva and Magnus nods at him "I'll be there with bells on." Magnus says with a smile and Alec nods his head with a smile on his face as he leaves the room but what he doesn't see is that Magnus's smile fades when Alec exits the room. After Alec gets Eva fed she is a little bit more awake but still not fully awake and she is still very irritated and so Alec takes her with him to his office so he can keep an eye on her and he sits down at his desk taking the ring box out his pocket and putting it in the top drawer whilst he finds one of Eva's workbooks for her to work in but she is having none of it "noooo I don't wanna do that Alec!" She whines and he sighs knowing this is not going to be an easy battle "Eva... listen to me, okay really listen to Alec... I know your frustrated." She starts whining and hitting his desk so he turns her to face him "Eva stop that behaviour, I know you're frustrated but you have to work with me here! I know you're tired and it's put you in a bad mood but you have to work with me Princess, I'm trying my best but you have to try talking to Alec so I know how to help you." He says and she shakes her head making the elephant ears flop about on the onesie hood and Bob who is on Alec's office table steps forward "Eva you're brother is just trying to help he knows how you're feeling and wants to know how to make you feel better." Bob says and Eva whines and clings onto her brother "want a nap." She says and looks up at Alec with tears in her eyes and he sighs "Eva you can't have a nap in the morning or it's going to make you feel worse later." He says and she begins whining again and he quickly comes up with an idea "why don't you help me with something that is very very important." Alec says and Eva looks at him with interest "what?" She asks quietly looking up at him as the elephant ears flop backwards "well I'm gonna ask Magnus to marry me tonight and I need a very special sign made for that to tell him that I want to marry him." Alec says and Eva still fidgets around but then she looks up at her brother again "so... your asking Magnus to be your prince and-and you need a special sign to ask Magnus to be your prince?" She says to be clear and he nods his head with a smile "you've got it in one princess... so you in?" He says and she nods her head "well I'll go and get your craft box from Izzy's room why don't you go get a cushion off the sofa and put it by the coffee table so it's comfy to sit on eh?" Alec says and Eva nods reaching for Bob so she doesn't leave her friend behind, "okay Alec." She says and he smiled and put her down and watched as she did what he said and he went to Izzy's room and got Eva's colourful craft box and brought it back to his office whilst getting a few curious looks as to why he was carrying a bright sparkly multicoloured box but he just kept walking back to his office. He saw Eva with her head against the coffee table and he chuckled as he walked over "princess don't fall asleep! Come on you've got an important mission to do!" Alec says gently giving her a little shake after he kneels down beside them and she groans again and Alec and Bob look at each other "I did try to keep her awake but it didn't work!" He says looking down disappointed but Alec just gave him a smile and Eva lifted her head not looking happy "why can't people just stay asleep?! I mean why would you ever want to wake up?! Things are so much better when your asleep." She huffs and looks down sad and Alec gives her a concerned look "why do you say that Eva?" He asks her and she looks up at him "everyone is always happy in my dreams... even mommy... in my dreams mommy and daddy love me... they're always happy to see me... I live in a big castle with you and Magnus and Bob and a big unicorn!" She tells him smiling towards the end and Alec pushes her hood down and pats down the mop of messy hair, "that sounds nice princess, do you wanna hear what I dream about?" He asks her and she nods looking at him curiously "well I dream of being married to Magnus and we live in a nice house together but we also have our own little princess, do you want to know her name?" Alec asks her and she nods her head "her name is Eva and she is the most beautiful, kind, smart and sweet princess in the whole world." He says lifting her towards him and giving her a peck on the forehead and she hugs him tightly around the neck "I love you Alec." She says and he hugs her back "I love you too princess so much." He says before he lets her go "now let's make this sign huh?" He says and she nods but looks up at him "could you write the words and I'll decorate it?" She says and he nods "what do you want it to say and I'll write it in bubble letters." He says and she thinks about it "'Sparkles will you be my Alec's prince?' I think that's what I want... what do you think?" She asks her brother and he nods his head "great idea princess let's get to work shall we?" Alec says and Eva nods her head and passes Alec different coloured pens when she wants it a different colour and he happily complies, he loves these moments he gets to spend with his sister because he cherishes the one on one time they have together, she's growing up quickly in Alec's eyes because it feels like yesterday she was just a baby. Now Alec is sitting at the desk as Eva decorates the rest of the sign and he opens his drawer and takes out the ring box, he opens it and looks at the family ring, before he looks back up at Eva smiling as she finished off her sign, he begins to get his plans in order for this evening when he gets a message from Izzy to go to the weaponry so he calls Eva over who is now more awake but still frustrated "come on Eva it seems Izzy needs us, we can hide this in my drawer here." He says taking her sign off of her "now quickly tidy your things and we'll go." Alec says and Eva groans and tilts her head back "less of the attitude your worse than Jace these days, now come on the quicker you tidy, the quicker we leave so come on Eva." He says and Eva stomps her foot but she walks over and puts away her craft supplies into her craft box and closes it before she walks back over to Alec and crosses her arms "alright Beyoncé let's go." He says and scoops her and Bob up  and carries them out and towards the weaponry "Beyoncé?" Eva questions and Alec shrugs "I don't know... Magnus mentions her a lot." He says as they get closer to the weaponry.
