"Oh my god, I know! Look, here's another photo of him" You smiled, showing photos of your cat to the soldier you were talking to. You two were so deep in the conversation about your beloved pets, well they were basically like your children. "He's so cute" he smiled, handing you his phone with his cat's photos opened. "You should bring your baby over so they could have a playdate!" You giggled, swiping through the photos of his cat. "You know, I might take you up on that offer. Can I get your number so we can set it up?" He smiled, taking his phone back "Of course" you gave him your number, sending him a text to make sure it was the right one.
You had been texting each other for hours about what you should put the cats in for the playdate and how excited you were about it. "(Y/N), get off your phone." You looked up to see Ghost standing at your doorway, shoving his keys into his pocket "Oh, sorry?" you put your phone down, you felt weird having him suddenly tell you to get off your phone like that. "Delete his number, and don't act dumb with me" he closed the door and stepped into the living room, standing in front of you. "Wait whose number?" you looked up at him, a bit confused about what he was asking you. "I saw you talking to that guy in the hallway. You gave him your number and were just texting him, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about"
You glared at him and shook your head "Simon, we were talking about our cats. Look, I was planning a playdate for Ryan!" You smiled at the thought of Ryan, showing him the text messages. "Delete it." He took your phone out of your hand, deleting the man's number from your phone. "Simon! My fucking god." You snatched your phone from his hand, tears forming in your eyes when you saw it was already gone. "I don't want you talking to him, you understand me?" you stood up and went to get Ryan, not even speaking to him when you left your apartment. All while he watched you leave, you were pissed off that he had done that.
"Then he just deleted his number off my phone, I don't even know what I did wrong. We were just planning a playdate for our cats." You gently stroked the cat's back, sitting on Price's couch as he stood by the window smoking a cigar. "Sounds to me he's jealous that you were talking to another man." He laughed and took a long drag from the cigar, blowing it out the window. "Over a guy who wasn't even half as handsome? God, he must be so fucking insecure." You muttered and picked up Ryan, looking down at your phone. 2 missed calls from 'Mask Man' you had decided to spend this night with Price, he was basically your second father and he always knew what to say to help you when you felt any overwhelming emotions.
Hours passed since you had left your apartment, maybe staying the night was a bit over the top, and you felt bad for just leaving your home. You also needed to feed Ryan so maybe you could resolve this with him when you got home. "Price, I'm going to go home. I forgot his food there so I might as well talk to Simon when I get home" You gave Price one last hug before making your way back home, his mood was going to be unpredictable but you weren't scared to go home.
Stepping through the front door you let Ryan run around the apartment "Simon?" You said softly, looking around the house for him, the bedroom light on and the door closed. "Honey?" You went to turn the doorknob but it was locked, you sighed and thought I really did it this time. "Simon, please open the door." You pressed your forehead against the door, slightly whispering to him. You heard shuffling in the room like someone was getting out of bed and the door unlocked but he didn't open it for you. You opened the door to see him standing there with his arms crossed, eyes a light pink as if he were crying. You reached up to touch his face but his hand stopped you "Darling, I thought you weren't coming home tonight?" he held your wrist, lifting his mask up over his nose and placing a kiss on your hand. "Were you crying?" You frowned, he didn't say anything but nod. He couldn't lie to you about it because it was so obvious "I'm sorry, I overreacted with you. I just hate it when you talk to other guys because it makes me feel like they're going to take you from me.."
"Take me from you?"
He nodded
