You'd been messing with this skull-faced man, always bugging him when he was doing his work. Little comments here and there about how you wanted to see what was under that mask, wishing you were his shirt and whatnot. Just little things to get under his skin every so often. You had gotten used to calling this guy 'big boy' in a teasing way. No matter what you did he always said nothing and pushed you away, just flat-out ignoring you.

"He's just a big boy, am I right Ghost?"

You looked back at Ghost who sat across from you in the helicopter, a blank stare on his face when you said that.

"(Y/N) that's enough talking from you. We've got 4 more hours ahead of us and I can't stand to hear you talking for the rest of this trip."

Price sighed, rubbing his temples as if he had a headache from just hearing you talk. He wasn't wrong, you had been yapping up a storm for quite some while but it still made you gasp and give him a dirty look.

"Are you saying I'm annoying? Wow."

Price just nodded, a few of the others who sat around you also followed. You crossed your arms over your chest, a faint pout on your face as you shut your mouth. It was better for everyone who didn't want to hear you yap away.

The rest of the trip you mostly slept and played tic-tac-toe with the person next to you.

"Alright, does everyone know their position? When I give the command you head in. I want little to no casualties on this."

The team got into their groups/ pairs and stood at attention for Price to tell them to fall out.

"Fall out. Get out there and into that base. If you see the target, don't kill unless it's necessary ."

Everyone nodded and went off in their directions, people checking their headsets to make sure they worked. You looked back at your partner, Ghost. He looked at you for a few seconds before heading to where you both were stationed, the back door after Soap and Gaz broke in, you both would join them inside to clear the hallways and find anything more in the building.

You both crouched down behind broken rusty cars, waiting for what seemed like hours for the call to move in.

"Ghost...Hey Ghost"

"Ghost, hey. Ghost, hey?"

"Ghost, hey ghost!"

You kept trying to get him to talk to you but nothing would get him to pay attention to you. You groaned and went back to watching the door, boredom making you want to fall asleep. Maybe they were already inside and went without you guys. No, the two guarding the door would have been called in if there was an infiltration.

"Ghost"

Your hand went to tap his shoulder but before you could even touch him he grabbed your wrist, pulling you towards him, your body hit his gear.

"Quit it, we're working right now. Your mouth is going to get us killed."

He said to you, his face close to yours so he didn't have to speak that loud. You shut your mouth and nodded, your face getting a light red tint to it.

He let go of you, leaving you to your own thoughts. God this would be a long time of waiting.

.

.

"Duo Ghost, move in."

Soap said through the headset, you and Ghost quickly made your way into the building. Nodding to Soap and Gaz before heading down different hallways. Every room gets cleared along the way. The ringing of the guns down the hallways makes your blood rush. You were scared every time Ghost opened a door, some of the rooms were empty and some were occupied by the enemy.
