youre my first love,
not in a "youre the first person I've been with" kind of way,
but more of a,
youre the first person i've honestly and truly loved
and the only person thats made me feel loved in return
youre the first person i feel comfortable around,
the first person i come to when i need someone,
the only person who's hand i want to hold in public,
youre the person i want to be around all the time
the person that remains consistently on my mind
the arms i want to fall asleep in,
and the face i want to wake up next to
the person whos colouring i hang up on my wall,
and the picture i keep on my phone,
so i can have something to smile when im not with you
youre the first person who i desperately want to stay
youre the first person i've ever truly loved,
and for that reason, you are and will always be my first love
