The sun rose.
Everyone got up feeling better waking up to a blue sky after that snowy night.
Maids and servants were all busy getting breakfast ready before the Kalos's members are awake.
Betty walked into the little princes room , he was still sleeping.
She pulled off the curtains letting the sunrays have their own way inside , towards his closed eyes.
''Prince Edmund''
Her sweet voice called as she was still standing next to the window.
He opened his eyes to that warm morning.
Edmund rubbed his sleepy eyes and looked around.
''Good morning''
He then said to the maid he loves most.
''Good morning my prince''
Betty replied with a smile.
She saw that letter and could not wait for him to already notice it.
The prince turned to check on the blue flowers he got from Elmer , they have not bloomed yet.
He then noticed that letter and cluelessly asked,
''What is this ?''
Betty smiled before heading towards his closet,
''Why do you not find out by yourself ?''
Her words only mode his curiosity grow more and more.
The little prince was very familiar with the handwriting , his eyes sparkled as he begun to read those words out loud.
''Dear Edmund, I know it has been so long since I left but do not worry I will come back before you know it so please keep taking care of everyone else for me and I promise you that next time I will definitely take you with me''
''Betty !''
Edmund shouted and jumped out of his bed.
''Elmer sent this to me !''
He shouted again while holding on tightly to that piece of paper.
She could not help feeling happy as well at the sight of that child's bright pure smile.
But not everyone's morning was as delightful as the little prince's.
In the heart of the woods , her crying was to be heard from far away but he was still not waking up.
Even though she took that dagger out of him and ripped her dress off to stop his bleeding Elmer was not responding.
''God Please''
Ida begged through her shaking voice and broken soul.
''Where did he go ?''
Hawk wondered while patting his horse's back.
He was unable to find Elmer and so he decided to take a walk and try to see if he was just training around there but he suddenly heard someone painfully crying.
'A female's voice ?' Hawk thought before he ran towards the voice thinking she was in trouble.
He was stunned at that scene.
Blood covering that ground leading to a red lake where the first prince was lying next to that female who was still crying.
He also saw the hunter laying not too far from the prince and somehow he knew what happened.
